Я из России и мне нравится такая погода. Когда я был подростком, я со своими друзьями выходил в поход, зная, что вот вот погода очень сильно испортится. Мы находили крепкие деревья и рядом с ними в снегу вырывали снежную яму, за тем накрывали её ветками, какие могли найти, в основном еловым лапником. За место печки обогревом для нас служили свечки и наши спальники, хотя в нашей снежной крепости было и так очень уютно и тепло. Когда погода очень сильно портилась и поднимался сильный ветер, мы забирались в наше убежище, разливали горячий чай из термоса и рассказывали друг другу разные истории, а после ложились и крепко засыпали под звучание дивной природы. Желаю всем добра. Ждем вас в гости. Приезжайте к нам в Россию и насладитесь нашими красотами.

I live in manhattan. These kind of storms are great. Not the obvious ones we had.

This reminds me of being a kid we lived by this wooded area with a lot of pines back in the early 70s when winters were like this in michigan. Good times great memories. ❤️

Same here, I grew up in Minnesota in the 70's. It would snow 2 sometimes 3 feet during a blizzard. It would get so cold at night that you could hear the trees splitting in the woods behind the house at night. I remember my folks being very worried that we wouldn't wake up in the morning because we lived in an old farmhouse with no insulation and had a wood fired stove in the basement for heat. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.
