I did the exact same paid for the mystics banner and got her in the next 10x pull. SG having a hidden whale counter when pulling

I literally watched every side story for mystic pulls, pulled for her with 2 purchases of the 500 mystic bundles, and still didn't get a single 5 star from any mystic pulls. Idk if rng is account or banner based but so far the only banner I have good rng on is the galaxy pulls, everything else I spend money on or grind for is pretty bad rates.

yd try yerba mate for caffeine/energy its good n way better alternative rather then ur standard coffee/energy drinks but do be warn its an acquired taste, i recently got it as replacement for my energy drinks.
