    I run a 3/8 bobber and a half ounce sinker and 6 pound line and 4 pound leader for king salmon and i use a agg loop hook and agges

    Nice video! I just notice that you always have alot of line in the water as you hookset and it slows your contact to the fish. Do you ever try to keep your line out the water?

    People have no idea how strong these fish are until you hook one one pulled on a lot for about a minute until the log started to move ripped off about 100 yrds of line with no chance of slowing him down most fun fishing I ever had

    15#line is far too heavy and visible. 10#max... 8lb would be reasonable and you'd get far more hookups.

    Those Kings are not line shy like steelhead we catch them on 30 lb leader all day either way heavier leader is better for the fish

    What?😂 so much easier than a centerpin and if you have a lower budget it’s good because it has drag like a spinning reel but can float basically the same as a pin

    @@evanegan6843 I appreciate your response, but I dont have a center pin, all I use it open bail when it comes to salmon fishing, but I've never been down that road before lol, it just looks like its more of a challenge to, cast it out, and to real in, if I got a HUGE fish on, that's fighting me and the current, I want an open bail with GOOD drag, I feel like the drag on a bait caster is SHIT compared to an open bail, but best fishing wishes to ya man✌
