So amazing cool. What I do like on your trips at all.... there is no hectic part in your videos and still it is a amazing adventure. Of course there will be some stressful parts on such a trip but for us it is absolut relaxing. There is to much stress out there in the life for everybody already... lets use the overlanding to calm down. Thanks Ronny.

Just my 2 bobs worth and I realize you have to do what you have to do as its a living, BUT I seriously miss your old format. The ones when you and the gang were touring, and exploring and also having fun at the same time. Thats what got me hooked on KZread when I was living in The Netherlands. Every Sunday morning my missus would here that I was watching you with that old tune that was your intro. Anyways mate, just wanted to let you know. Thanks

He's def not trying to be 4wd 247. Dudes can mess around with each other and if memory serves he's always joked around with the boys. His life has changed, his kids are older and clearly has other focuses on life. Just glad to see him out and about more... I don't think he'll go back to the old way. More of a late 20s life style.

@@Scatterpattern not saying he's gone the 24/7 route, it just feels and looks way to scripted, I know his original stuff was also, but as I said, just my feeling, it's gone to commercial. I would like to see the stat's on views and subscribers compared. Obviously I would assume he does his homework, and feels this format works for him to pay the bills better.

@@phillroo7871 4wd 247 is very scripted, but then again so are most shows we see. Rhonny and the team may need some time to figure out their new format. New presenters need some time to get comfortable on camera. They'll get there. All channels change over time. I am glad they are focusing on touring. :)

Just did our final camping trip for the season here in Ontario Canada. We went to a provincial park that's right out in the heart of cottage county. Just a handful of small villages nearby. The "light pollution" was very minimal. A clear crisp fall night with a beautiful full moon... and we had that section of the park almost entirely to ourselves. It felt even more remote than we were... peaceful.

I'm loving this series Ronny. I recently completed this same track but in the reverse order - Caiguna to Israelite Bay. We were told that the track from Twilight Cove to Caiguna end was too over grown and considered impassable. We definitely would have run out of time if we added that section in considering it took us 2 days to get from Caiguna to Toolina Cove. You were right about the pace, it was very rocky, overgrown and slow going. One of the best adventures I've been on :)

I first started going to point Culver/Bilbunya dunes about 27 years ago, there was no conveyor belt then and it was a real challenge to get back up considering the old hiluxes and rodeos didn't have common rail or turbos. I think it took like 6 goes one time back up to the bend 3rd low flat out get a bit higher each time. Haven't been back for about 10 years I will have to remedy that soon. But me I wouldn't drive the top of the cliffs I'd go back out to the highway and turn in at Cocklebiddy to go to Twilight just on 8 hrs instead of 3 days

Are all of you guys talking about "scripting" for real? Apart from the fact that these small movies must be planned, this is pure Oz. I don't know who you all hang out with, but these guys are laid back Aussies. I don't script my own weekends away and the banter is just the same. And yeah, Ronny must do some research so that he can tell you about all of things that happen in the places he goes. Oh, and there is also a total lack of the dramatic disasters of stupidity that the other clown show hero fest that you mentioned embarrasses us with. Keep going Ronny, best Aussie 4x channel by a street! JT from Kalamunda.

I dont need the cheesy gags, just show me a real adventure like you used to. That's why people watch youtube, to be a part of it and for it to feel real. Just my 2 cents though.
