i LOVE this game so much. i found a really fun group to play with and we played for nearly 8 hours and had a constant ship battle with people for an hour and a half (sinking them multiple times and same to us) and we decided to do a ten man crew on one ship, was amazing

Such a pretty looking game with cool mechanics. Can't wait for release. (Hey, and the instrument you're referring to at the start is called a Hurdy Gurdy)

I love these kind of games like animated type of graphics, people and other things that look like this

That instrument in the game is a concertina, Baron! I know, because I play one! :> The other instrument I saw was a hurdy-gurdy or vielle à roue, which is basically a fiddle bowed by a cranked wheel. So cool to see these in a game like this!

You know you messed up when you read a treasure map's visual wrong, pointed your crew in the wrong direction, your ship crashes and sinks and your marooned on the wrong island fighting the dead, kinda amusing when you point how many things can go wrong in this game, I love it!

That instrument with the air chamber is called a 'constantina' and the one you wind the handle is called a 'hurdy gurdy', the 'pistol' is called a 'flintlock', the long rifle is called 'a musket' and the handheld cannon thing is called a 'blunderbuss'... just say'n ;)

It looks like baron was part of the royal navy back when Haratio Nelson was still alive. The sea, the waves tossing the ship around, cannons and pirates. So old school. I love the sea. I might join the navy as a job. Man isn't the sea beautiful?

I'm in the Alpha and those fuckers at Rare decided to hide a secret chest on the map which would unlock 4 super exclusive Xbox ones for your crew (Coolest looking Xbox yet, its black and gold). They gave us clues and my crew and I spent 10 hours trying to find it. When I was about to find it, someone found the chest. FML.

You should do more of this

I in the alpha program and I can assure everyone who reads this that this game will live up to the hype it is such a fun game and I've met so many good friends from playing this game and it is one of those games where u daydream of what ur gonna do. This game is worthy of all awards!!

They already said weapons, armor and ships do not scale in power and you cannot find better upgrades. If they add Galleons for larger crews (assuming that will ever be a thing) then I assume there will be larger ships. I wouldn't count on it although there is indeed a smaller ship meant to be crewed by one or two pirates. Specially designed for solo or duo players. Mind you a full crew will rek you in a ship battle though

I loved pirates... I played Pirates of the Caribbean Online like 10 years ago and I miss it... Assassins Creed 4 was the closest I got to it.

I've been following this game since the start. The events that played out in your play through are exactly what the development team had in mind: players creating their own stories. This whole video was basically you telling us the story of your play through, so you can tell Rare has achieved its goal. I did cringe a little bit every time you did something wrong like only pick up one cannon ball, plank, or banana at a time or try to use your shotgun from like 30 meters away, but hey, that's only because you haven't done as much research as me.

Please play more of this!!!!!!!

i was sitting there yelling that devils ridge was one of the treasure islands

I can hold my breath for 10 minutes

im a sailor, the generally speaking the longer a ship is the faster it is, its a little more complicated than that when you get into it but a smaller ship will have smaller sails and a shorter length so would probably be slower irl, for game balancing tho i think they will be faster

great video man but it was painfull watching you use the cannons XD you need to lead your shots

I wish there a was game like this only with an infinite map, no boundaries, with islands and treasure chests, multiplayer and you get your crew together. You could buy a ship in a harbour and hire your friends. They'd have their spawnpoint in their sleeping hamock in the ship with storage for their items. If the ship sank you would all be scattered in the sea. There would be taverns like Tortuga and if you shot someone you WOULD kill him. You could buy a house on an island and make it your cove. You could be a pirate, a merchant, a normal sailor.....

Now, imagine this game in the One Piece universe with devil fruit powers and such.
