November Method Feeder Fishing with Bread | You wont believe what I caught!
Join me for a late November session using bread as ground bait on the method feeder. This highly effective tactic will be my go to ways of fishing the method feeder through the winter, I want to show everyone how inexpensive method feeder fishing can be yet still produce an epic session. Grab a brew or beer and enjoy the session.

Good effort m8 iv found they move out after the first frost and steady cold snap of a few days but some waters differ from this depending on depth wind exposure and topography of the water however following the wind as in this session always tends to be a good starting point I fish all the way through the seasons and they always feel special fish when the goings harder again great video iv subbed 👍

And another cracker🎣🎣 nice fish and good angling , my thoughts on the margins are similar to yours , I believe once temp gets down to around 7/8 degrees they start to head to deeper water but the odd hots spells could see the odd one come in , I personally ignore margins when I feel first icey wind from the east then it’s deep water all the way ….. it’s finding them that’s the difficult part 😂😂. On another note, in the 51 years of fishing , I have never once used bread in any form , ( the lake I fish banned it), but come spring going to give it a go on another lake , you seemed to do well on it from what I’ve seen . Great video once again 🎣🎣🎣

  • @WestysAngling

This is a great comment and answer Chris ! It’s definitely a tough decision to come out of the margins as in my opinion it’s the best possible place to get carp/ barbel and the bigger carp. However as you could tell in my video the fish still haven’t gone dormant they are feeding well just further out so the timing is important. Exactly, once you are on them it’s easy fishing , which is why I like to cast around the first couple hours unless I’m sure where they are. I think the only reason they don’t like bread is it’s not nutritious for the fish. I am using it more and more I have noticeably better sessions when I use it as you know being a follower of the channel . Thanks buddy 👍🏻👌🏻

I think while the temperature is fluctuating (up/down)it's decision time for the fish. They probably go deeper when the temperature steadies down permenantly for winter. Where is 'Harry's? have you managed to park close to where you are fishing?

You can park behind most of the pegs on the lake Stan ! It’s accessible via castle house lane in Adlington … There is a metal swing gate you need to lift up and open to access the fishery (they keep it shut due to livestock) so it depends if you would be alright with that ?

Great video as usual. With regard as to when carp move out of the margins I don't think any one can answer that question fully. Perhaps it will depend on depth of margins or atmospheric pressure and indeed how pressured are the fish from other anglers or other fish. Perhaps it is down to water craft and knowledge of the water you are fishing. If the fish can fool you then they certainly will.

  • @WestysAngling
