Great you managed to film the corn shake with its just captured food. Your luck was great too, arriving at just the right time to get that dramatic documentation. I hope folks are not squeamish seeing nature at work - nothing sinister or gruesome about it; life feeds on other life. Good job.

Some think nothing of watching a man eat a cow, but are horrified at a snake eating a rat. Others have the absolutely opposite reaction. 🤷

I did feel a bit sorry for the rat. At the same time I'm impressed that that snake could eat that big of a meal. I fed my two hognose snakes frozen thawed pinky mice out of Easter eggs yesterday....lol 😂 So I must not be too squeamish... Edit; squeamish not squimish lol 😂

Enjoy your videos. Very well done and informative. I am a snowbird. Spend the winters in Port St. Joe. FL. Just down the road to the East of us is an interesting FL state park , Tates Hell State forest. About 200,000 acres criss crossed with miles of access roads. Have seen lots of snakes there on the roads. Another Interesting spot for herping is St. Joseph Bay Buffer preserve in PSJ. Have seen Diamondback here. Next time you are in the panhandle area check them out.

Dude your videos are becoming my favorites to watch. I keep 6 snakes of my own. 2 corn snakes 3 ball pythons and a California king, but my daughter and I love herping. We got our first snake in the back yard about a week ago. It was a eastern smooth earth snake. Best of herping to you sir.

I don't know your family very well(at all)😂 BUT.. if you want to further your and your daughters reptile addiction, I suggest Monitor Lizards 🧐😆 It sounds like both of you will likely be in a reptile treatment center in the next 5-10 so might as well go with the flow. (Obviously just teasing. Your daughter will never forget these experiences. Good stuff)

I just joined your channel about 3 weeks ago & I love watching to see what kind of snakes you find. I have a ball python, her name is Baby. Where in South Georgia & North Florida do you herp? I live in Southwest Georgia right on the GA/FL Line in Cairo. But I live out in the country not in town & there are a lot of excellent places to find snakes.

you need to come this way..one day.. maybe you and Zack can do a video..or meet midway..he goes to Mississippi a lot, for snakes that are harder to find here in Louisiana he just did a video about an eastern diamondback that the mississippi wildlife people called him for...he fed it and gave it a shot of medicine , and returned it back to the wild, it was both old, thin and had tumors
