Also loving the lack of shot clock! Commentators watching the shot clock constantly has been getting to me. Tennis without it was SO MUCH BETTER.

Great match. But two days ago this lenght of the match record has been broken by Alkaraz vs Djokovic in Cincinnati final. Alkaraz struggled to reach the final with all previous games being three setters. His serve was less than mediocre among other problems. Novak on the other hand easily sailed his way without dropping a set. Most notably his 1st serve was like a sniper. Unfortunately he lost it for this match. However he tactically and strategically made for it, and even broke Alcaraz in 7th game! However, Carlitos broke back the very next game and won the first set . Because that was the hottest day of the month, Novak started being exhausted and after losing serve in second set (2:4) he almost got Heat Stroke. But doc pumped him with tablets and electrolites and he continued. The rest is history, as they say. Don't miss it, it's even bigger triller than this! ( I'll just say: Alcaraz saved 4 match points!!)

Čilić was the only guy to win at least 5 games off him. Not only that, but he had already beaten Zverev earlier in the tournament and a month prior in Shanghai (both on hard surfaces). Convincingly. Choke-avic.

Quality of match is *because* of the long time between points. Players aren't robots - long hard rallies = need time to breathe between points.
