Amazing. I was planning to buy rustic wrought iron fake hinges to beautify my boring front door but was also getting concerned about the maintenance and keeping it rust free. You have provided the perfect solution- make those Celtic designs out of wood and make it look like metal with some paint and hammering. Thanks!

Those hinges would last forever but they are also costly 🤘 this was for workshop which wasn't ours and since we got kicked out we are happy that we didn't invest more time. I had to break these doors though.

Outstanding work and so many creative ideas!!! I'm a big medieval fan too and built my apartement in this style! Thank you for a bunch of new ideas and keep up the good work!

An amazing piece. Have you thought of maybe trying to cast some parts in aluminum? I imagine brass would be to heavy but a lot of it would feel more real then wood and the texture from casting may be better. Still amazing and gives me thought for my daughters new bed and dresser she wants.

I am mainly a classical guitarist but I "play" tin whistle (low's too) and I play Irish music and it is not easy but this medieval tunes "super fast ones on recorder" are absolutely crazy.. I wish I could play that well hahah 😂 but I absolutely love to listen to this kind of music 🖤

This is amazing work, but I have to ask; does there come a point when it is easier to just make the fixtures out of metal, than it is to make them out of wood faked to look like metal?

I have zero carpentry skills and from time to time find myself looking wonderously at woodworking machine tools in Brico and try to fathom what purpose they could be put too...one of the marvellous aspects of your beautifully produced videos is being able to see what these pieces of kit do and the part they play in producing the end result.

That's a really nice job. I did something similar but didn't have the metal door to buld on so I used a panel of marine grade OSB and covered it on both sides. Yours is a classic.
