Yep that’s right. I always flush before I use a toilet so I toilet leave an unpleasant surprise for the next person to have to deal with a turd just sitting there in a clogged toilet.

Actual years have passed since the last time I ever saw this video and it's so far down in my liked list that I would never find it without using the shuffle button

2 things I would do are •yell DAD •Go into my basement and get a screwdriver

Ugh, I used to live in a house that had a toilet in the basement, and tree roots had somehow gotten into the drain. It did this a lot.

But why was the water so high

looks like it may have been clogged previously then somehow got itself unstuck.

It overflowed and after it overflowed it thought fudge it I'm goin down

How the heck does it get overflowed but it empties

Omg that's scary. I always thought American toilets were blocked as in UK the toilet level is low and doesn't rise when I visited the US I didn't understand why the water was so high.

more water flowing on top of more water equals greater weight and greater force on what is down below

The 2000s Eljer Savoy toilet replaced a comfort height toilet. I wonder what the original toilet was. Most likely an American Standard Cadet or Kohler Highline. A restaurant my mom worked at in 1980 and when I was 2 and not far from me today replaced a 1977 Kohler Highline toilet in the Men's Restroom in 1990 with a round front Universal Rundle Atlas toilet and the urinal was still there and it was a 1977 Kohler Bardon and it still was broken since 1980. I was 12 when I found out. The Women's Restroom there had a 1977 Kohler Bolton and Highline toilets and I didn't check it out in 1990 because the bathroom might've had women in there.

Wtf? I've never seen nor had a toilet do that before the first time I flushed it.

This is an Early 2000's Eljer Savoy toilet. Somebody clogged it so it overflowed the 1st time and then it unclogged itself.

Lucas Nassar Well, European toilets, being wash down, surely would never do this. Provided the U shaped (not S shaped) trapway (laaaarge) would be 100% clogged (i'm talking about literally clogging it with concrete or plaster, because if you successfully manage to clog it with something else it just unclogs itself due to the water pressure) a wash down toilet would overflow like this only if one stubbornly keeped at repeatedly flushing it.
