Vics egg trick wasn’t a fail, that is exactly how vic wanted it to go, you’ll realise when you see shooting stars

They used to have a show in the 1990’s called, The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer. Very funny, you have got to react to it. Bob and Vic at their best.

Shooting Stars from them was a great comedy gameshow. Before that they done a crazy sketch show called The Smell Of Reeves & Mortimer which was totally insane but brilliant.

Peak Vic & Bob for me is "The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer". It's absolute comedy gold. Two seasons, 12 episodes. It's BBC though, so getting reactions on KZread in any form will be fraught. They'd need to be cut into pieces and heavily obscured. But whatever the case, you need to see that.

I loved The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, had the videos, way back then, but I think they were an acquired taste for the British audience and a lot of U.K references, places and celebs, possibly not the best starting point for the classic comedy duo, Shooting Stars all the way!!

Another amazing comedy duo for me is Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson. “Bottom” is the show for me that, no matter how many times I’ve watched it, still makes me laugh! I was so sad when Rik died, but he will live on forever thanks to his comedy shows!🙏🏻

A compilation of Greg Davies stories from the Graham Norton show are epic , Vic and Bob's show can't be mentioned without George doors can't even begin to explain it lol

Vic and Bob doing the Stotts (David and Donald) makes me cry everytime short 5 min skits with guest celebs.

vic and bob are both nuts, absolutely fantastic slapstic comedy especially on their show "shooting stars"

What's on the end of the stick, Vic? What's on the end of the stick, Vic? It's at about this time of the night I like to balance a packet of cornflakes on a shrimp's eye... And not forgetting... You wouldn't let it lie would you? I would have let it lie! But you didn't let it lie! Just fantastic random madness.

The great thing with the egg trick is that (under the desk) he slipped the coin up his sleeve before it "disappeared"... Then everything going wrong from there was deliberate. He then forced it into one of the eggs he cracked as he was cracking it, but decided not finding the coin was better than finding it.

Their version of the show, stars in their eyes. The greatest George Michael impression ever.

Something that never really got repeated but was pretty good. Vic and Bob did a remake of the TV series Randall and Hopkirk Deceased. Very much worth a watch.

Bobs a Legend right back to the 80s with Vic his comedy partner they are absolutley loopy. They are both like kids that never grew up 🤣

I always love your reactions. If it doesn't get blocked as it's BBC then give the Smell of Reeves and Mortimer a go, particularly the 'Mulligan and O'Hare songs'. They are a real treat. Keep the laughter going guys, great stuff 😊

I, personally, would love these guys to react to Knightmare. As a kid that show was fucking amazing and so much better than anything that kids have to watch today.

As well as the various shows that Vic and Bob have done, a quick reaction video you could do would be for the number one charting song (in the UK) 'Dizzy' from Vic Reeves and the Wonderstuff. Bob is also a part of that, and in the music video. One of the songs of my childhood and introduced me to the genius of Vic and Bob! Pretty sure it's just past its 30th anniversary too!

Their show Shooting stars is a must see and Matt Lucas as George Dawes will take you down the Little Britton rabbit hole!

Vic & Bob’s stuff it’s very dada. The original thing they did was a live show called Vic Reeves Big Night Out performed upstairs in a London pub. A new 3 hour show was done every week. They then moved a condensed version to Channel 4 before moving to BBC 2 to do things like Smell of Reeves & Mortimer, Shooting Stars, Bang Bang It’s Reeves & Mortimer and House of Fools. I’d suggest Cottage Cheese and Masterchef as good places to start

best thing about 10 cats is it brings together what is already a super tight community of british comedians and actors and shows us them even better than we could expect off screen. britain really does have the most diverse group of comedians, they crop up absolutley everywhere!

So happy to see Americans discover Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, this is not even close to their best stuff. That rabbit hole is absolutely worth it fellas. Their older stuff is just fantastic, and surreal and bizarre. There are no substitutes for Vic and Bob. If you liked that Vic bit you should search for their other magic bits too, they did one with Dynamo that was funny as hell.

Tim Vine! I love Lee Evans and you said he was full of energy, but Tim Vine literally has the world record for number of jokes, and while I love him, I wonder if it translates to you guys as much as the rest of us.

Yeah, you HAVE to do Shooting Stars, by their own admission "the longest sketch in the world" (8 seasons long: you don´t need to watch the whole thing), The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer and Bang Bang, It´s Reeves and Mortimer. Heck, even their "serious" documentary is bookended with them half-burying a vintage car in Vic´s backyard, just for the sake of it.

For Vic and Bob together look for Vic Reeves Big Night Out, The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer or Shooting Stars. All well worth a watch! Look for the Peanuts song with side kick George Doors (comedian Matt Lucas of Little Britain fame). Oh-o, another rabbit hole!

Sean Locke, the fellow with glasses on the left-side team did an absolutely hysterical Christmas bit with Jon Richardson called "Carrot in a Box" It's amazing. An absolute classic!

You want to find _Vic Reeves' Big Night Out, The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer_ and, of course _Shooting Stars_ for classic Vic and Bob. They starred in the titular roles of _Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)_ in the early 2000's (a revision of the original show from the 60's) about a pair of private investigators, one of whom was a ghost.

On the panel the tall man in a black shirt is called Greg Davis. Find him on The Graham Norton show telling Graham and guests, Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe and Jodie Foster the story of when he was a teacher. One of the funniest tales. He tells some of the best stories EVER, I promise.

At the start, it was Vic Reeves big night out with Bob as his sidekick, then The Smell of Reeves & Mortimer, before the Panel show Shooting Stars, the most recent House of Fools is great too

They started in Vic Reeves Big Night Out which was very strange and very funny and later did The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer and of course as many others have said the crazy game show that is Shooting Starts which helped launch the career of Matt Lucas (later went on to Little Brittain).

Reeves and Mortimer, "Mulligan and O'Hare singing "Rose"".

Bob was working as a solicitor when he went to a Vic Reeves gig. He says in his autobiography 'I saw the past, present and future of comedy that night'. He started to write with Vic, then perform, and never went back to his day job.

Vic & Bob's Big Night Out is a must!

Loved Reeves and Mortimer. The must have been about 30 years ago! Shooting stars was great too - utter chaos!

Shooting Stars was a game show hosted by Vic and Bob. Worth a peek...it's mad. Also, more recently on the Dave channel, John Richardson is in a sitcom called Meet the Richardsons. Very funny.

I've just subscribed. Please do part 1 of bob on would I lie to you!! He is my favourite!!! Absolute legend! Lovely bloke, very down to earth and incredibly funny.

I saw Vic and Bob live at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham, UK, back in October 1990, it was sold out. I went back to the same venue the next night and saw some little known band from Seattle called Nirvana, wasn't as busy but they went on to do quite well the next year.

Vic's best bit on 8 out of 10 Cats was the song "Flush Flush". But you should see classic Vic and Bob from yesteryear. Shooting Stars is probably the most accessible. Big Night Out is the most purely-distilled Vic and Bob madness.

Shooting stars (the celebrity showbiz quiz) was the most fantastic, sometimes surreal celebrity panel game show. They bounce off each other in a way you guys would like. So at least 3 shows to sink your teeth into.
