The Maxx Force launch is absolutely insane, the Raging Bull back row might be one of the best back rows ever, but Goliath in the front row steals my heart every darn time! ❤😀

Thanks for this review. I included Great America in my 2024 theme park itinerary because it really looks like an awesome park AND it is a short walk from the hotel I plan to stay at up on Grand Avenue (and Golden Corral Buffet is right next door!!!🤗🤗🤗) This park has a "seriously" solid rides line-up compared to other parks that are always ranked above it and I am definitely excited to visit next year. 👍👍👍

It’s definitely worth the visit for the coaster lineup alone. It doesn’t have nearly the charm that it used to (unfortunately), but it’s still a great park 👍 enjoy the visit!

Hey Walker, great review man. Being from CA I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for California’s Great America or as I knew it Marriott’s Great America. My first visit to Six Flags Great America was the final weekend for The Tidal Wave roller coaster and my last visit there happen to be the final season for the Orbit, such a classic. I will definitely be subscribing and watching more of your content, I like you style.

😀❤. I am also hoping that CGA gets saved. We lost our Wizzer roller coaster back in the 80’s, and the Triple Play in the 90’s but, at least we still have the Orbit. Sadly, it no longer goes completely vertical. It was my pleasure to suscribe, please continue posting the amazing videos. Ciao for now.

Nice video and awesome day you had at SFGA!! About flash pass entrance, sometimes you can go directly to the station like I see in your video on Raging Bull but sometimes even with the flash pass you need to wait big time like it seem in X-Flight. Do you remember how is in Goliath and Superman? I can’t see on the video. Thank you!

Goliath was easy, it brought you straight into the station from its own entrance. Tbh I can’t recall on Superman but I don’t remember a super early merge or anything. You’re right though, it’s kind of a toss up with what you get. All in all it was definitely worthwhile for my visit. Hope this helps! Great America is one of my favorite parks in the Six Flags chain!

Is the flash pass the watch or wristband at this location?

It’s through a webpage on your cell phone now, much more convenient! Just login from your confirmation email as soon as you get to the park 👍

lol I’ve definitely heard of it, and have ridden hypersonic xlc which had the exact same acceleration… I’m sure it’s very similar though just without the unique inversions that Maxx Force has. On the list of must-rides in the near future

@@trtvwd It's not that amazing, I'm sure Maxx is a better ride overall. Stealth is just Accelerator with an airtime hill instead of the banked turns, the launch does feel like a semi has just rear ended you though

Thanks for the review. Could you please share more information about the flash pass? If I buy the unlimited instead of the gold pass, is there a different queue? I always see two lines, one for the flash pass and one for the regular pass, so why is it worth buying the unlimited? Also, are there people working there who verify that people have the flash pass?

Yes, the grouper will scan your flash pass on every attraction. It is not always a separate line, sometimes the flash pass entrance goes up the exit of certain attractions. Just keep an eye out for the flash pass arrow signs. I believe the only difference in the price levels is the amount of time you have to “wait” for the ride virtually. Also perhaps access to Maxx Force but don’t quote me on that.

I miss shockwave. So menscing. Superman is a kiddie coaster by comparison and doesnt make the same ld welcome statement when you arrive at the park
