Thanks so much! I agree and extremely happy with the result on that book especially with the 9.6 grade it is top of the CGC census for UK price variant along with 3 other copies. No 9.8s exist.

Thanks. I guess I picked the right ones this time or got a good grader!

The first six issues of Starslayer have very good Mike Grell writing and great Grell art. And while The Rocketeer was adapted into a fun movie, Starslayer has the makings of an excellent film that starts as a historical drama and quickly shifts into spectacular SF. That Silver Surfer miniseries is a tale of very different halves for me: beautiful Moebius art and colouring but Stan Lee's writing is so preachy as to be treacle-thick. I don't get books graded so all mine are raws but I've heard a lot of negative comments about CGC's grading service; since you're pleased with what they did to your comics David, perhaps they've improved as part of their push to do better after the drama with fake slabs.

Thanks @charliedogg7683, appreciate your love for the Mike Grell art and scripting in Starslayer - I need to do some more reading, the potential for a film adaptation definitely sounds exciting. I hear you on Stan's preachy writing on those books, but as you, that Moebius artwork is really what makes this book special for me. On CGC, it can still be a bit of a mixed bag results wise, but overall I seem to do ok with my submissions. I'll have some interesting videos out soon with some experiments on books using CGC.

CGC pressing service was a topic last evening on B&MG members only stream but know you were having internet issues so you may not have heard it live. Guess the boys weren't enamored with that service. Do you do your own pressing/cleaning? I'm thinking about dabbling but my entire collection is raw so frankly not sure that's in the cards. Thanks @PapasDino for filling me in on the CGC pressing chat on @bronzeandmoderngods. I sadly missed it due to the internet being so lame where we were staying. I've had a mixed bag with CGC over the years, particularly with pressing, but of late, had more hits than misses. I'll be sharing some more videos on some of my recent experiements soon that got some intersting results. Hopefully catch up with you soon on another livestream!
