The pod related bug is very annoying. But at least the Q-5L can be used in battles. I can't use my Jaguar GR1B for two weeks now. When you have the pod and the LGBs equipped, you just can't go into battle.

Damn Q-5's are an aesthetically cool looking jets to bad in WT they're not without historical faults that being they're missing quite a bit of weaponry and equipment. Anywho the 10th anniversary colour scheme for this Q-5 variant looks really neat and man do I wish they'd add the Q-5Yi for the lols as it was a torpedo bomber.

If warthunder was historically accurate the J8 would be better than the f14, if used right since it would have pulse doppler, the su22 would be tones better along with most the British planes, warthunder say there is no biased but how come anything other than USA and Russian vehicles are inferior

They're yet to add it's flares and AAM's as the Q-5L used by the PLAF did operated with them.

just unlocked this today and gotta say the stock grind is super painful but well worth it

Could you bring updated video of Z-10 with updated loadout and different flight performance? Few things changed since your last video

If you want a subsonic light attack bomber that can do dogfighting and equipped with fire control computer for ground attack purposes, Q5L is the best. If you want a supersonic light weight multirole fighter with excellent dogfighting capabilities but still able to do CAS, F5E is the right choice. In my opinion, Q5L is perfect for 9.7 BR because in the future F-CK 1 Ching Kuo(IDF) may added to the game soon or later. The F-CK 1 Ching Kuo has the same fire control, same thermal and weapon loadout capabilities as Q5L, but also equip with pulse doppler radar, has Mach 1.8 top speed, better maneuverability than the F5E and posses BVR missiles.

@@pedrofm30 It still is not fixed. You still need to stay in the camera to keep the lock for angles more than 90 degrees. they just added the ability to swap between integrated and pod which breaks the lock if you first lock from the third person and angle the aircraft about 40-60 degrees and press C, because it first goes to the integrated camera and it tries to move to an angle it cannot move to, then this breaks the lock.

I wish Gaijin give more respect to sim, pressing sight stab button from HUD in sim is just gambling, you might mark the desired area or the crosshair teleports to the farthest edge of the sight. ☹ Will try my friend.

@@Hunter_i86 that's the problem. I'm struggling for GBU TV in the simulator, Walleye really benefit because they can fly, while other countries can't. and the problem is now the Top BR Sim is full of F14 they have a good radar shooting missiles from far away only Mirage 2000 can counter

They even correctly wrote "Don't touch the Screen" on the podcam in the cockpit lol.

It's all so confusing: Weapon lock (air-to-ground), lock guided bombs, activate target point, sight stabilization, Toggle laser designator... And they periodically change the function of these key binds, with no information provided! I can't find any consolidated information on the wiki, either - it's all over the place. Very frustrating.

Hey hunter any tips for avoiding AA radar as CAS? I have a couple questions too if you're able to answer them, I noticed when you were dropping bombs sometimes you didnt wait to see GBU track/point yet your bombs still hit their target, although guides ive watched mention to wait until you see Track, is it just a difference in bombs/planes? And lastly I find it hard to get locks using the AGM-65 or walleye in the USA F4E from far away, mostly i have to get within 7km or they dont lock or just blow up midair and im not sure what im doing wrong.

1. AA Radar can be negated by flying higher than 5km while keeping your distance as far as 10km before heading towards an attack. Do target AAs first while doing an attack run. 2. In Hunter's view, those bombs are already "tracking", as Hunter dropped them slightly after the "Track" or "Point" 3. AGM-65 requires a closer distance to lock. You might lock onto a target and it launches but it may not track as the target moves away from the tracker's gimbal (or if the color contrast is not bright enough between your target and the surroundings). AGM-62 needs altitude and speed, especially the non-ER variants like the one in the F-4E. Use the GBU-8/15(V) instead, they're better.

@@GanyangYourself-pq5sn Thanks for the reply, I used to think I was just getting lucky by not getting shot by AA but couldn't ever figure out why i was getting pings and other times why i wasnt from radar. The AGM 65 was very inconsistent for me, ill try the other GBU bombs and see how I do.

@@GanyangYourself-pq5sn One last question, these TV guided bombs on the F4E whether its either of the GBU or walleye should all be able to track the tank as long as i lock onto them correct? I find that I cant ever get a lock on the tank, it instead locks onto the ground right next to the tank.

@@TanLTheMan It locks onto the nearest thing to the tank because your gimbal is way off-limit. Try locking and dropping them head-on Sometimes it also happens when you lock head-on, but less often. Also about the bomb that dropped without "Track" or "Point", i just learned that Laser Guided Munitions doesn't need to be "locked" onto the target manually for each bomb (as how TV-guided munitions works). You just need to lock a target with the laser designator

hello,Hunter,i met some bugs,the first is that i cant lock on a moving enemy ,i can only lock on a certain ground spot.the second is that i dont know why,when i lock the ground spot even,then i change my sight to make my Q5L fly up,then i find that my laser guiding bomb are no more locked on that spot,it always lose locking...the third bug is that even i dont change my sight,only look at enemy with my bombing sight,and use keyboard to make Q5l fly up,even though i dont quit locking,i still dont see my laser guiding bomb hit my spot place or not moving enemy...
