They look like they are built for attacking. That 'wedge' shape with power that drives downwards from back to front. Even the walk depicts a solid and confident approach. No real neck that can be used as a target by other hunters . Wow what a walking battle piece.

We' ve been to Namibia three years ago and we watched a honey badger. Our guide told us that these absolutely fearless animals also fight against lions. The honey badger, we have watched, was digging after animals living in the sand. There were around 40 °C and he was digging with an intensity which was realy impressive.

Python's aren't vipers, they are constrictors.

Honey Badger just doesn't give a damn. He's like, "If you want some, come get some."

I've seen a honey badger walk thru a entire pride of lions and showed them who's the boss, literally! They are the most badass animals on earth and I think some of the funniest too! Their extreme I don't give a damn attitude makes me laugh out loud every time!!

Nope, the Jackals werent there to help, they were there to take the Honey Badgers kill. All the Honey Badger needed was the time to recover so that she could kill the snake, the snake tried their best but it just wasnt their day.

We have a lot to learn from animal kingdom about courage, perseverance, tenacity and valor.

The honey badger is like that guy that stands in the middle of the street shouting 'c'mon then', and challenges anyone that passes by to a fight.

It gets in a dangerous situatation to get some food, spends a lot of energy to get food and then the thugs want to steal the food from it. I'm glad they didn't manage to.

The reason they put the word " Bad " in the name badger is clearly obvious. I can hear the python saying : " hey wait, no one gets out of my crushing strangle. I've killed many prey this way. " Then the badger replies : " No one kills me . "

@@y_ffordd; yea. I once worked with a guy who HATED snakes. He said, "There are only two kind of snakes, rattle snakes and cobras. If it rattles, it's a rattle snake. If it doesn't rattle, it's a cobra." But seriously, Pythons don't have any venom glands. An untreated Python bite can get infected, (the same as a human or dog bite), but there is no venom involved.

Badgers are pound for pound one of the toughest and most tenacious animal on earth.

Interesting footage. However you refer to the Python as a viper and this is inaccurate. The Python is not a venomous snake with hinged fangs, which would need to be the case to call it a viper.
