My red 25kg ds servo works fine for bashing. Typhon is a great performer in most settings, I've seen people race it bash it speed run it, mines a shelf queen. Put same esc and motor in mine as well. Arrma tough baby.

Hey buddy , yeah have a cheap DS3230 pro to go in it now there great at 7.4v and quick should be awesome in the TLR . Yeah hoping that the esc and motor combo should make it a rocket 🚀

I just got a 6s Typhon and what a rocket!! It is a blast I like I can run a 4s in it and take it to the track for a calmer drive I am having fun with it I hope you enjoy yours as well

@ChriswithaCrc cant think of anything other than the factory motor mount screws are trash the size is off for the driver its to sloppy I bought a bag of screws on Amazon. I have a Gens Ace basher 6s that I cant get the body to clip in on that side be careful with pack size and be careful with the esc wires near the servo I know yours is a roller on the factory setup the servo arm comes back and can grab wires.

never heard of the TLR before, looks great. Hobao rollers really impress me lately and thanks for the intro to them with the SSTE project. The Aroma TLR looks to be the same kind of thing. Really high quality, simplistic design, easy to work on and looks to be very durable. I am looking at a Hobao Hyper 7 roller at the moment for a silly price so hopefully that will end up being my fist step into buying a high quality roller. Look forward to seeing you run it....

I've just got the hobao hyper gts roller for £230 but ended up spending £600 in total the rtr is only £420, it started as a budget build but got out of hand, check the price of the rtr before you decide but I enjoyed doing it so don't mind the extra money

Glad u got one always had it on my list i have a losi 22x4 but its a track only type rig even low cut grass gives it fits its 1200 dollar shelf queen need to sell it for a truck i can bash great content as always brother 😊

Those hinge pin braces are unfortunately not 7075. They’re 6000 series aluminum anodized to look like the 7075. If you look closely the color is a little off. However, it’s not that cheap stamp metal arrma uses they’re actually billet machined pieces. They’re holding up for me so far

Got one.. i race.. things to check are front rear input cups , for wobble.. replace with..... and the top front arms bind. Undo the top pillow balls and see if top arms fall under their weight.. if not polish the pins, and wear in the arm through holes till arms drop, free from bind...

My cousin actually works for horizon. Actually they did team up with Losi. And team Durango basically turned into Arrma. Many similarities with the Arrma rigs in relation to Team Durango

I do really like the typhon just not a fan of the color Lol. I’m taking it the Ecto is gone. That’s a fair trade though it’s in great condition and congrats buddy!

@@ChriswithaCrc ty bc im running a 25t servo that came with an aluminum horn but i noticed it sits at and angle since the original servo horn that came with my tlr typhon sits higher but its made for spectrum servos. With 23t

Im dead i put a comment saying cheap china parts work fine, before you said you got some, most parts that arent high stress china parts work just as good.

Totally agree with you buddy , these servos are cheap enough to not break the bank and work great for bashing
