Great video!! What I also like is that once you create it and press a key or note you can drag it out of serum onto your timeline!! I love this option because serum can be CPU heavy at times! Also, love the fact you have an 808 not clipping the channel or the master and it still dumps!! Thank you for the amazing content!

@@samsmyers No worries the content is so good I can comment and re like this video 100 times if needed lol Would love to see or hear your point on gain staging in Ableton live, like on the channels should sounds be staged at -12db -10 db or even -18db Also, what would you advise the gain staging to be on the bus/groups, and also what level should it be at on the master to export out for mastering -6db? -3db? We are extremely new to the Ableton live world and since technology is always changing, us producers have to adapt as well Thank you for re-uploading this amazing video! @@musicmediaproductions Thanks! as long as you are recording in at least 24 bit you can have quite a bit of headroom. When you export for mastering, just make sure that you don't have any peaks that hit over 0db True Peak. Use a true peak meter like YouLean Loudness Meter to check to make sure you don't have any peaks hitting over 0db True Peak.

I tend to put a utility plugin at the end of my chain on each track and use that adjust the gain on the individual instruments. That will help out so you don't have to take the channel fader down super far
