@CampBoBear thanks for letting me know about the poncho, i appreciate that. i did end up purchasing this tent, as well as the miniature Soto table. what a handy little surface! my Poler sleeping bag also arrived today and i'm pretty pleased with it, in case you were curious about that product. the weekend of Oct. 1st will see actual testing. :)

Thanks Jason. I think you're referring to the Barebones Railroad lantern. I got it from Aliexpress for around 100 USD (www.aliexpress.com/item/4001227000473.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.64d6659azofyAh&algo_pvid=329ed033-2102-4a57-ad73-74208629463d&algo_exp_id=329ed033-2102-4a57-ad73-74208629463d-0) It's pricey but I really like the look of it and been using it for a lot of my camping trips. Coleman Lumiere lantern jumped in price after it was featured in some anime called Yuru Camp. Apparently one of the characters used it and now it's very popular in Japan 😅 The cheapest way is to get it directly from Amazon Japan. They ship internationally and you don't need a prime membership. (www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/Coleman-205588-Luminescent-Lantern-Japanese/dp/B004IWR45A/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1ZJX2Q6SO5QDC&dchild=1&keywords=coleman+lumiere&qid=1625670430&sprefix=coleman+lumi%2Csporting%2C148&sr=8-1) Wait for the price to drop down to 5000 yen (around 50 USD) which happens time to time. Buddy on the tent stuff sack can you please confirm that the 2+ poler tent is a real 18x7.5” when packed? REI and Poler says so buy while you holding it in 0:26 in the car is seems way too big. Their 1-person tent claims 22x7” in packed size. Thanks from Jasper AB Canada.

Hmm I just measured it and it’s around 22 x 7.5. You’d have to pack it VERY tight if you want it around 18 x 7.5. Let me know if you have other questions :)

Does it get hot inside that tent ? During summer times ?

Yes it does 😓It has no vents so it gets warmed up rather quickly. I'd suggest pitching the tent under a shade.

Thank you for the support 😁😁❤ I bought a shelf to store them all in my room and some equipment such as sleeping bags, hatchet, tables, etc stay permanently in my car. I very much enjoy trying out different gears and enjoy sharing the experience. Very happy to hear you enjoy seeing them 😊I might start doing short reviews on the gears I buy. It's a great tent! I like watching the rain through the plastic window :) The only downside is that there's no vent but the condensation wasn't too bad.

You have the SOTO Field Hopper too! Both sizes!? Nice👍 I recently got the small one too and brought it to my backcountry trip this past weekend. It is really good. The Coleman hot sandwich maker was also nice. Good stuff again! Oh and the candlelier looks great!

It requires too much maintenance for me to handle 😅Soto tables are awesome and they were one of my first purchases when I started camping last year. Man.. I'm looking at the tokyocamp fire pit right now (Prime Day sale). It's such a good deal but I don't need it I don't need it 😭

Hehe thank you glad you enjoyed it. Best tip I can give you is to book at 7:00 a.m. PST which is when BC Parks website opens the reservation. For instance, if you try to book August 23rd (today is June 22nd) it will show unavailable for booking BUT the status will change to 'Available' tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. PST. I hope this makes sense. Also, people sometimes cancel when the weather is bad. You can check the forecast and see if you can get lucky, which is what I did for this trip. ✌🏻
