That really was a "get-you-home" bodge, should never have been left in place !

The old fuel pump install looked like something James Bond would have done just before killing the bad guy. Great job.😊

I had a red XJS but it was the V12. I recall talking to Alan Jones who also had one and he said it was a sweet ride? I knew AJ liked a tipple or three buy Geez talk about delusional! Hahahaha.....@@tjmthejagmandownunder

Wow plenty things could have happened, aftermarket fuel pumps are fine, great work anyway🏁

Not sure about leather conditioner. I use various ones but I keep stumbling over reports that state that leather conditioner doesn’t really work because the dye on the leather acts as a sealer and doesn’t let the conditioner penetrate.

I recently purchased a mint 1990 xj6 4.0 sovereign and ma abs lights and the brakes are heavy, also there is a slight hum coming from the back. Was wondering if you could help me find tha source of these problems! I already replace all 4 wheel bearings, all the brakes, changed the differential and engine oil and the rocking pinion.
