The way that Xiang Liu pretended he didn’t care how Xiao Yao feel lonely/moody makes my heart aches.💔He made an excuse to appear and see Xiao Yao. I think that he is trying to give her some clues about her real parents through this song. He is really care for her well being.🐍💓Tan Jianci did a good job on playing the instrument and singing. @@lcc726 However, if I understand correctly this is the love song between Xiao Yao’s parents. It was love between their clans’ war. They promised to meet under a peach blossom tree. That May explain why Xiang Liu chose this song. I heard a soft singing voice version by Tan Jianci came on a scene that General Chi Yun’s first appearance.

She’s shocked to find out that not only he’s good at martial arts, has a good sense of humour but also can play guqin and sing amazingly 😂 You can see her being stunned to speak before she noticed the lyrics of the song. Xiang Liu resembles General Chi Chen so much. No wonder Xiao Yao likes him and initially wanted him to love her. It’s actually a good thing that XL didn’t pursue her. If he did other men wouldn’t have a chance with her, and in the end, story of ZY’s mother and General Chi would be repeated again 😢 Now at least he’ll go peacefully, knowing that his beloved one is with Jing, who will protect her. It’s still sad for us, but for XL it’s the most ideal scenario.

The best character in this drama that a fell in love with is Xing Liu. Breaks my heart that he died…why oh why

She needs her partner to get along with Cangxuan, but xiangliu is Cangxuan's enemy. Xiangliu knows he can't be the partner she needs, so he taught her archery so she could protect herself, gave her his blood so she could be free in the ocean, and saves TuShanJing's life so he could accompany her. He hides all his love and tenderness under a cold exterior, make all his sacrifices seem like transactions so she doesn't feel like she owes him. The song he played is the song her father wrote for her mother, she just doesn't know it yet.

Are you sure it’s XL she truly loved? Is it written in the novel? I mean I feel like she actually loved him. But there are many other people claiming that her love of life was Tushan Jing. I honestly don’t think so, because to XL ‘s question if she wants to marry TSJ, she doesn’t respond. She only responds with Yes when he mentioned Ye ShiQi, which could mean, she likes him for their strong bond that was created in Qing Shui Village., and not actual TSJ. In which case, it confirms the fact that she loved only XL truly
