Dont know if you'll read this but i ended up working on sets years after i started watching your channel (after getting into camera stuff just for fun) and it helped me so much, if only to not* make stupid rookie mistakes or just keeping everyone safe on set. Thank you, man.

Great Video. May I ask a question please? Is it just as simple as Matching the Lighting Meters Color Temp with the Camera Color Temp to get an Overall balance?(minus what I learned in this video)

You mean adjusting the camera to match the meter? Yes, you could totally do that, in fact I use to match interior lights with my camera when I use to not own any lighting, granted I didn’t have a meter at the time but just by eye ball I use to say “is it orange or blue”, if it was orange I brought my camera to 3200k, and then if it was blue I’d go 5600k. But for YOUR question, if I was still shooting interiors with no lighting available to me other than the facilities lighting, I’d use the meter to get the exact color temp, then change my camera to match that to get an even balance. Hope that helps

Do you need to factory reset if it's brand new? Just got my first one today. :)

What is the difference between the 700 and the 800? Are there any new features in the 800 that the 700 doesn't have? I'm currently looking at a used 700.
