Hi guys, Mt Gambier certainly is a beautiful place. The underwater video was breathtaking. As for that first diving place, well, I’d be more worried that something would swim up and grab me by the legs 😂. I couldn’t see the bottom and it looked quite eerie! It looks as if you can walk around that volcano?? Really enjoying your channel. Thank you for taking us along ❤

Hi Karen. You definitely can walk around and into the volcano at Mt Schank. We didn’t. The diving is next level, but I couldn’t do the enclosed cave diving. Bit too scary for me. Glad you’re enjoying our vids. We are learning on the run, so hopefully we can get better along the way. Cheers Pete

I spent the weekend snorkeling some waterholes in and around Mt Gambier 3 weeks ago. Traveled across from Melbourne. Free camped in the carpark of the Bellum Hotel at Mt Schank. Throughly enjoyed Mt Gambier, will definitely visit again. Oh, excellent Parma at the Bellum Hotel as well.👍. Ewens pond was my favourite, water crystal clear, but averages 8C all year round. Snorkelled in a 5mm wetsuit, hoodie, gloves and boots and didn’t feel the cold.

It's hard to find anyone who doesn't find something to enjoy about Mount Gambier. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
