I am absolutely baffled by Jackie. She admitted at 11:32 that her obvious clue has the word in it. But then she goes on to get buzzed for it, knowing that her clue was illegal! I feel sorry for the contestants there 😢, that was sloppy.

Somehow she thinks "sunrise" is okay because it's not "sunset." I mean, a lot of comments here are confused about what's acceptable and what isn't. Suffixes are okay ("opposite, maximum" for "minimum") but not if it's a compound word -- "beehive," you can't say "bee," even if you are only saying "Bee" because it's part of "Bee-yonce."

@johnsmi213 Agreed and well said. I think specifically it goes off of the clue word given being a part of the word being guessed. More than suffixes because there are plenty that would get a buzz (i.e. upTOWN - downTOWN, sunLIGHT- moonLIGHT etc...). As you said "be" wouldn't work for "Beyonce" because "be" is a word itself and is part of the word being guessed.

@@johnsmi213 The rules are a shitshow, but sunrise/sunset is clear-cut. If you aren’t sure about that one your ass doesn’t belong anywhere near the set. It’s disgraceful that contestants lose because of this nonsense.

I use to LOVE this show when it was an “In person” show. I’ve been waiting for the format to change back to pre CV19 format. Doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. 😢

Same. I think this'll be the format going forward. They are within the same studio in person I believe because I've seen them move around to one another. That said, I get what you mean and prefer the previous format.

Jackie...any part of the keyword is illegal in this game.

Timber = pirates shiver me. Wise = extremely knowledgeable, or three wise men. Dramatic = adjective overly top reaction 🤔. Unlucky 😢 better luck next time.

Yeah, and then in the fourth round, Tim Meadows once used like 12 words on one clue and said "I thought this was the round where words don't matter" (because they didn't have to bid on them.) When the fourth round is about building your own clue board with only 25 words.

It is key to have secondary clues for certain words. She had more than 15 seconds to think another way around stitch, and compose herself instead of repeating needle and action. Lilo & Stitch was good, that did not come to me immediately. I would have said slang laughing uncontrollably, in stitches. Good pass in the end 👏.

I played along without looking at the clues and I had no idea about "stitch" so her secondary clues were just as confusing (especially when you repeat what already didn't work). Then I saw it was "stitch" and I immediately thought "Lilo and..."

We need a complete makeover of everyone except the host and announcer...

She is just bad in the money round. I know there were some tough words, but she's just not good at giving. Famous boulevard for sunset. Again, Jennie thinks everything is so funny...geez.

Because a lot of people are just on the show for publicity. To them, it's not that serious. Which is offensive to the contestants and those who are watching the show.
