I made a comment last time about the sweet little’s sounds. It has been a while around here since we had those sounds. I will go see my sweet grandson tomorrow. We will have a “sweep-over”. Two years ago I had to teach school online (20yr olds) and I had a new beagle puppy. If you’ve never heard a beagle howl…. Well let’s just say everyone in every class knew Eddie. They would even ask for him if it got too quiet. I always loved when I saw kids, pets, and even a dad delivering coffee on the camera. It’s so real and makes for fun. Kaity, I also knit the Navelli tee. I found the neckline to be be too big for my taste and got some of the same yarn and crocheted it at the neck edges. I can’t say that it’s too short since the whole thing is a bit big. Swatch? Maybe, maybe not. Diana, I am picturing you on line at Chick-fil-A with your knitting needles :0 My grandson calls it “Chick-away”. I’m hungry now. I also love birds and never miss checking them out. We have a robin in a nest in one of our trees. Well, thanks for another great episode.

Thank you so much for watching and enjoying our crazy! We love to share our knitting exploits and family shenanigans. Listen, Chic-fi-a people know me by name!😂 What I should do is have a pair of socks that I only knit while in line at Chic-if-la and see who long it takes me to finish one. We love our grandbabies and feel so blessed to have them. I have heard a beagle howl and it is definitely a unique sound ❤. Thank you for your kind comments. ~Diana

I LOVE the idea of naming our stash ‘The Yarn Pantry’ however mine was named by my husband years ago “The Vault” and I am fortunate enough to have an extra bedroom now that is entirely set up with my stash. And on a side note I was tickled to hear you mention me in this podcast 😊. Tolt Yarn and Wool changed owners during Covid or shortly after the pandemic and sadly it’s not what it used to be. But still a treat to visit. I live about an hour from Carnation Washington in a small town north of Seattle. If you ever get out to the Pacific Northwest, I would love to get together. And yes, Flock is in Seattle in August. I have not gone but I’m looking forward to it this year. I also have a little podcast on this channel- there is an episode where I actually give a little video of the Carnation area, which is absolutely beautiful and some of the interior of Tolt Yarn snd Wool if you are interested in seeing it. I must warn you. I am sometimes a bit all over the place which is my personality. I am an ER nurse and I think that’s kind of how we are in general because we always have to be on guard for what might be coming in the door next. But I’m trying to stay on a more structured flow. And I’m enjoying it. I guess that’s what’s most important. You both are so lovely and I enjoy every podcast that comes out. God bless.

When I knit socks, I use two sets of circs usually magic loop and I'll knit the cuff on one, then the other, knit the leg, then the other, knit each heel flap, turn and so on until I'm closing the toes. I then have a completed pair. No starting a second sock from the beginning. It really works for me! Love your podcast.😊

I love your podcast so much! 🥰 All your projects are so beautiful. Diana, I love your bold color choices! I need to make myself a couple POP sweaters to wear on grey winter days. Katie, I entirely understand that you mean about how some projects are very fun to knit but wearing them doesn’t quite feel right. I’ve been trying to pay attention to that over the last year or so and make sure I make the things I’ll actually wear. I come from a big family and I have 9 siblings. It sounds like you also have a big, joyful family. I’m very curious to know how many children/siblings you have. Also, I love that you call the children-in-laws ‘bonus children’ 😁 I’m so excited about the Tolsta knit along! I’ve had my yarn to knit that project for a couple months now (I bought it before the pattern came out…) and I’ve been meaning to cast it on but haven’t yet. Could you stretch that beautiful sweater during another blocking to lengthen the body and open the sleeves a little more. I made a pair of socks with no nylon (100% wool) and had holes the first time I wore them.

Hi Kim, thank you so much for watching and commenting. Kaity may try and reblock her sweater, it is stunning, I’m hopeful she finds a jumper to wear it over. I’m afraid the 100% wool socks are not going to hold up well. I think I’m going to make a shorter sock with them just in case. ~Diana
