Ep 64 - Hitting 14.6 knots!
In this episode Excelsior hits her top speed as we sail towards Luwuk in Central Sulawesi. And we almost come unstuck when we can’t pull the spinnaker sock down. Conditions get quite intense as we round the headland so we come up with an alternative anchorage to the East which we have named Hammerhead Bay.

Never a dull moment on the SV Excelsior! If in doubt crack a brew! Looked like an adventurous sail enroute to Sri Lanka. Very nice deep and protected anchorage guys. Amazing what you find in the middle of the ocean hey! Bet those brews went down well hey 😊Take care and safe sailing team.
