Lower the OPTEMPO and return the Army National Guard to being the one weekend a month two weeks a year reservist force it was meant to be.

You can’t train a vacancy! As a new recruiter for the Kentucky National Guard I hope I have an impact of the perception of opportunity we offer. Yes the OPTEMPO is high and has been for the last 13 years I’ve served but being creative in how citizen soldiers manage their lives in their community, will benefit both the people and the communities we serve. It’s the duty of able bodied citizens to apply for service and fulfill that service if eligible.
