I was watching a nature video recently which showed hamsters in the wild in the UK, living in a cemetery actually, and they liked to go to the flowers left on the graves and eat certain petals and leaves - leaving those that presumably weren't good for them - even to overturning the vases to get to them. Definitely well fed and plump but they were very happy living off plant life. I assume they also caught and ate insects as well but the clip showed this very fat hamster with very full cheek pouches knocking over a vase to get to the marigolds in contained.

I saw it too. It must be a European hamster. I saw him eating candles. It's a very big hamster, but it was the same cute. :)

They eat the candle wax from the jars left on the graves as well. Weird.

@@GamerWien well I think they use it for something eles maybe. I cant imagne its good to ingest candle wax. But yeah I guess there are nutriuos value somewhat.

@@hamstertime6333 : A dog can eat something that's smelling/tasting like meat but it has to much sugar in it . And so for the hamster with the oily candle wax . We can read . Animals only can taste and smell . Logic on point

Cotton always makes cute faces! I love to see this beautiful cage and the hamster living happily and healthy. Take care and keep yourself warm as well :) love from Spain!

오~ 웬지 여기서 시미티비 삘이.. 지난번 비커에 흙 넣고 실험.. 생물학과쪽 대학원생이나 연구실 연구원 이신가? 근데, 이번엔 전선을 이리 잘다루니 공대오빠? 엔지니어??? 보통의 평범 햄찌 집사님 인줄 알았는데 점점 보통이 아닌 주인장의 정체가 궁금. 작고 하찮은(?) 수명짧은 햄찌들에 진심인 집사.. 히터다 공기순환기다 최첨단 기계들 잔뜩 솜이는 알고보니 주인덕에 부자 팔자된, 타워햄리스 가진 대단한 햄찌임 밝혀짐. 그와중 조그만 소리에 깜딱 놀라는 솜이 초롱 눈망울 넘 귀염귀염 🤗 근데, 자연상태에서 벌레들 필요한건 알겠는데, 혹 벌레들이 솜이에 달라붙어 괴롭히면 어쩌지? 저벌레들이 유리담장 넘어 집사 사는곳 까지 나가면 어쩌지? 걱정 궁금

Hope you read this 😁 You didn't boil or cook the soil in the oven, did you? A lot of comments on Reddit said you had to cook it in the oven to kill bacteria or something. I'm planning on making a natural setup like you, and I don't want to mess it up 😉 I'm planning on using biological soil and stuff as much as possible

There is no point in sterilizing the soil. Because of the air, hamsters, food, and people's hands, the germs will come back anyway.

I was thinking of putting a female hamster. It is impossible to create your own domain already. It seems possible to make a separate female hamster cage. Hamsters are not social and often fight with other hamsters.

Anda benar benar merawatnya dengan baik.saya juga ingin merawat hamster saya seperti anda tetapi uang untuk biaya merawat hamster saya tidak cukup mulai membeli tempat minum sampai membeli kandangnya. saya dibelikan hamster oleh saudara saya sebagai hadiah ulang tahun 🙂
