Recently I took part in the South Australian 4SS State Cup which was held at the Barossa Go Kart Club. In the absence of being part of the State Open Championships this was our State Championships with winners being awarded the 'orange plate.
We elected to run in 2 weight groups this time. Medium (which is my current weight group) and light (which we are certainly not but it was a great chance to get some more race time. We ended up coming 7th in both which was about where our lap times also put us during the weekend. The lights was a good opportunity to get some clean lap times in under race conditions and the mediums was a good fight back after a poor start.
This was an excellent race meet which we all enjoyed. Probably my favorite event so far.
