I'm from Tamilnadu. I lived and worked as a doctor in the U.S. for more than 40 years. I'm retired now and living in India. I wanted a leader like Modiji in Tamilnadu. When Annamalai came in to Tamilnadu politics , I was wondering how can a young ex IPS officer do to fight the corrupt and incompetent DMK. But very soon I am pleasanty surprised at his phenomenon rise in Tamilnadu politics. He is young, intelligent, articulate, dynamic and courageous. He has inspired a lot of people , both young and old to join his cause in some ways. He is God's answer to our prayer for an honest and selfless leader. May God Bless him with good health and long life.

Being a person from Tamilnadu who has seen all the atrocities of the Dravidian parties, I personally am heavily indebted to this gentleman Annamalai. The kind of clarity and the kind of honesty this man carries is really really amazing. The icing on the cake is simplicity and easy approachability in the party. And the kind of hard work that this man is putting into the party having politics inside and outside the party is tremendous. He should be one person in the prayers of all the Tamil people. His health and well-being and family security and safety is of utmost important to each person in the state. I disagree to many who say that he is the future chief minister candidate of Tamilnadu because he is a future prime minister candidate. As of now he is not a state treasurer but he is a national treasure. Jaihind!

I have been addicted too and following Annamalai on X etc.. The first time I heard him speak was interestingly for a Saivite charity evening where he was honoured as a guest speaker. I was super impressed. Being a diasporic Indian, with India as an ancestral land, I had no clue he was a politician let alone the BJP state president. The rest, as the cliche goes, is history. Like many, I see this brilliant politician rewriting the history of India, particularly that of Tamil Nadu.

I am from Karnataka (Udupi). Back in 2014, when he was serving as Police officer he was invited as a guest in our college. I was very impressed and motivated by his speech. At that time I thought if people like him becomes our PM it will be so good. For my surprise he left job and joined politics.

Having risen from a very humble background to become an engineer, MBA from IIM, and then IPS officer, Annmalai has great credentials. He is now probably the youngest state BJP President, and has very good understanding of the state and national poltics. Wish to see him making inroads in TN to place BJP as a formidable force in near future. Highly impressed with his interview with Smita Prakash.

I'm from jharkhand, my first interaction with thalaiva annamalai was during my medicine days in Manipal karnataka where he was posted as superintendent of police in 2012-2013. I and my friend were on a bike going back home after our evening clinical postings at our trauma and emergency center at around 12 am night. I was riding the bike without a helmet. He was on a round in his maruti gypsy with other police officers. Observing interactions with the police officers and sorry and begging from our side He came out of the gypsy, asked us where are we from, what we do etc, he politely said, that he appreciates and thank us for our service but he and the rest of the cops are doing their jobs, enforcing law, and that the fine that is being levied on us is a lesson for us to not be on the other side of the river where all illegal activities are swept under the carpet. 100 rupees was what he fined us with a proper physical challan. This incident changed me forever and I've never riden a bike without a helmet consciously remembering him. I request my Tamil brothers and sisters to give this guy a chance. He's "different ". He's not a larger than life phenomenon, he's just an average grounded person like you and me, the rest of us. I know in my consciousness that I'll vote him for the prime minister of India in the future and hope with all my good wishes that that day comes soon. He's the CM PM material in all aspect.

As a person from Karnataka, that to from Udupi,,when Annamalai sir joined tamilnadu politics I felt bad, why did he leave Karnataka and joined tamilnadu (his state).. because if he had stood for election in Karnataka he would have landslide victory for sure, that much fan following he had.. but after seeing this podcast I am telling "Tamilnadu needs this man" hope my dear tamil brother's and sisters understand his thoughts and support him in future..

This man cleared the UPSC exams with rank. It is one of the toughest exams in India. Since then he has had a distinguished career including in the police force. He is motivated by principles not power greed.

A clear example of how Mahapurusha’s are made. Very very inspiring interview.

I am from MP and living in TN.... I can say with full conviction that he should one day become the PM.
