Hi Jen how are you doing 😊❤ Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😊
There will never ever be a collection of live great Country Music on another TV show again like this episode. Thanks Midnight Special!!
Conway Twitty just takes it all to another level. Amazing intensity.
Every episode is a gem, but now and then something magical happened when certain singers were brought together and the show unfolded like a dream. This is one of those magical episodes. Those were the days when record companies fought to sign real talent, not just T&A shakers.

How wonderful that these programs were recorded live. I love hearing the performers voices …the beautiful gifts they were given and so generously shared with us.
Wow! Heavyweights of 70’s country and all personal favorites
This one hour show is about the best example of country music as you will ever find. It does not feature all of the genuine country stars, but it embodies the "soul" of country. It is truly priceless!
This is why I love the 70s! Best decade ever ❤

My Mom loved Conway Twitty. WOW.. I dont think i heard this song, You've Never Been So Far ....in 50 years! I can still remember her playing the record. Really enjoyed watching this. I was 8 when this was shown. Parents would watch these perfomers on TV. Had the records. SAD, to think almost all passed away. Only Tanya, and Johnny Rodriguez are still alive today, I believe. Damn! This show is STACKED!
legendary lineup this episode!
My mon had some cousins who grew up here, around Hardy, AR, and they became country music stars in Nashville. They had a syndicated TV show in the 60s and early 70s and they were first to sign Loretta to a tour contract and appearances on their weekly shows. She became a star later on, thanks much to the Wilburn Brothers...they were a class act and may they rest in peace
Now that was an A-list country roster. I never saw 'The Midnight Special' when I was growing up, and I'm really enjoying these full episodes.
Great talent. Sad that most are gone now.
