Love this!

I'm so excited you're learning about Forestella!!! I went to their concert when they came to Atlanta this year and they were even better live, it was insane! Recordings just don't do their voices justice. Because they're a crossover group, a lot of people who listen to kpop don't really know them, but they're quite well known in Korea. They're a regular guest on the highly respected Korean show, Immortal Songs. And you're completely right about them always giving 1000% for whatever they do. Hope you continue to check them out! I feel like you guys would love their cover of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" as well, they really put their own spin on it.

OMG. I'm so happy you were able to see them in Atlanta. It was completely sold out in LA by the time I found out about their tour. It's unfortunate that we only saw resold tix that were $600+. Hopefully if the timing and price is right, we can see them next time, should they decide to tour in North America again! We'll def need to check out "Shape of You." Thank you for the rec. =)

Really appreciate your in-depth reaction/analysis and that you were able to watch "Save Our Lives" and "Utopia" sequentially! The members are Ko Woorim (classically trained basso profundo), Kang Hyungho (rocker, countertenor- had no formal vocal training), Cho Mingyu (classically trained lyric tenor), and Bae Doohoon (baritone, musical actor); I think they are pretty well-known in Korea as the "Kings of Harmonies." Hope you continue to check them out- it's definitely fine to blur/cover parts of the videos if needed for copyright! Some of their best performances include "Je Suis Malade" (famously covered by Lara Fabian), "Time in a Bottle" (Jim Croce), "Hijo de la Luna" (Sarah Brightman), "Scarborough Fair" (Simon and Garfunkel), "If I Leave" (OST of a Korean historical drama), "Maldita Sea Mi Suerte" (Marc Anthony), and "MAMA" (Exo).

Though, I have to say, we got burned with a copyright strike, so we are somewhat reluctant to do live performances (unless that live perf has a lot of reactions to it), especially those that have been blocked.

Loved your reaction so much!! ❤ They are the super talented group that has continued to improve themselves by holding a lot of concerts since their debut. I can confidently say that their concert is definitely worth seeing once in your life. Their concert tickets are always sold out within 3-5 minutes of going on sale and really hard to get in Korea. They are talented, unique, hardworking, smart, clever and hilarious. They are really nice people who always deliver positive energy. 😊

I love that you did this, they are an incredible group. They always sound amazing, they are also really funny people too. Which is what us soopbyeols love about them. With utopia they asked the composer Valensia to help,he is a Dutch composer who lives in valencia Spain. He is known for his Queen influenced songs, they asked him to compose a song that had a queen vibe.

FORESTELLA is so versatile and different. None of their popular performances can be compared to a previous one, but they are ALWAYS TOP. You're right, they really are a perfectionist in the best way and so incredibly diversely talented. They are definitely among the best the music industry has to offer. Sadly not possible for all of us as we don’t live in Korea and can’t travel , so I’ll take whatever m.v’s and recordings I can find on KZread.

It was fun to hear you talk about the song or video for 45 minutes. 😊💕💕💕 It was an excellent choice to watch 'Save Our Lives' and 'UTOPIA' in succession. I'm so happy to hear Forestella's amazing vocals and blending in every performance. In particular, 'UTOPIA' was really shocking!!! 🤩 Unfortunately, there was no band on this US tour, and the sound seemed to be lacking in some places. Their concerts in Korea cost about $104 for R seats. Concert tickets are cheap in Korea. As far as I know, the US ticket seems to have been around $200, so $600 seems to be a reseller. 😅

Yeah, you're right. Most definitely the $600 was from a reseller. It was insane because I really wanted to go see them live after we heard some of their music in December. Wow, I didn't know they didn't have a band on their US tour and the sound systems were not so good! Ugh! I bet they still sounded amazing though regardless of all of that. ❤️ We are so glad we watched both videos back to back. It really felt a musical! Utopia was REALLY fun for me because of the Queen inspiration, and I loved it!!! Thank you so much for watching these videos with us and listening to our discussion for 45 minutes! We talk a lot here sometimes. lol.

I purchased my tickets for the Los Angeles concert on Nov 17th soon after ticket sales started for the Jan 20th concert. I paid $115 per ticket. Loved the concert and the group. Hope to see them with a live band and a bigger venue next time.

Two of the Forestella members, the bass singer Ko Woorim And their leader Cho MinGyu are both opera singers with Masters Degrees in Voice…Classic. Bae Doohoon is the baritenor has studied bachelor of music-musical with a versatile voice and Kang HyungHo who is the tenor soprano, self-trained…no formal music education …a degree in chemical engineering instead.

I love Forestella... It doesn't matter, which genre they tackle, it's bound to become a banger... I could literally listen to them singing the names from the telephone book... :D Oh... And for the little nieces and nephews I recommend the performance of "Like someone in a legend" ;)
