Nexus is not reeuired .. you can directly update the image information in your ci pipeline to the git repo

Hi Abhishek, You haven't answered about the below interview questions, if possible could you please share the answers 1. If Git is a single source of truth, how to handle the entries by admission controllers ? For example, I deployed a pod using GitOps on the cluster but there is a admission controller that adds resource requests and limits, so should those be removed because as per GitOps, Git is a single source of truth. 2. I like GitOps and decided to onboard GitOps with some applications, But what happens to existing resource on your kubernetes cluster ? will they be deleted as Git is a single source of truth

Hi Abhishek, does API server of Argo works in the same fashion as API server for K8S itself i.e used for Authn, Authz, Admission controllers, etc..

Hello sir I am a college second year student and I am looking at devops speciallisation. I practice java for dsa and have pretty good grasp over the language so can I enter devops through java provided that i learn all the necessary tools like jenkins, linux shell scripting, kubernetes, aws etc. Or i need to make a switch to python or Golang? I am pretty concerned with this since I dont know much about python or golang. please help.

Hi Mayank , like I told in my previous videos , golang is needed only if you want to contribute to the Devops tools and add plugins to them or do something in opensource ecosystem. Other than that , if you know python scripting and bash scripting, you can be a good DevOps engineer.
