You're very practical. I wish that you teach all the required skills for Devops. It's OK even if I have to pay for it. Just make the learning materials once relating to real time work and give access to the students. Just a suggestion. I hope you have already thought about it.

As a DevOps engineer myself, this is an excellent roadmap to get into DevOps. Only suggestion from my side is that I would put a little more emphasis on networking because if you are working in a firm where the data center is still on prem then extra networking knowledge proves to be useful. Though you have everyone moving to cloud but there are a few big companies who are still using on prem data centers.

@@prajeshharikant8674Personally I don’t know many people who started DevOps as freshers. Typically people with previous experience as developers or automation testers go for this role. I was a Developer before I moved into DevOps. But if you were to try for a fresher role in DevOps you need to be really good in Linux , networking and python to start with. Then you also need to have decent knowledge in various tools such as Jenkins, ansible, terraform, etc. plus you might have to do a few projects for your portfolio too.

​@@shivammagotra1636 Eveything mentioned in the video is required as DevOps engineer. The most basic ones are as below. 1. Linux 2. Networking 3. Bash or Python programming 4. Any major cloud (AWS preferred as most of the companies are using AWS) - Get a AWS-SAA certification if possible. (Here comes actual DevOps tools) 5. Configuration management tool: Ansible 6. IaC: Terraform 7. CI/CD: Jenkins preferred as it's been used by most of the companies. GitHub Actions - New in the market but already a lot of companies are using it. 8. Docker 9. Kubernetes To be frank, DevOps is a vast topic and there are a lot of tools. It completely depends on the company you work in and the tools used by the companies. Not all companies/project in companies use all the mentioned tools. But first 4 points are the basic and very important to start with DevOps. There are very less number of DevOps engineer who knows and worked on all the tools.
