Ep 2 Rajgir to Bodh Gaya, Bihar | Dashrath Manjhi - The Mountain Man, Famous Gaya Tilkut
This video is about Day2 of our Bihar tour, we started this journey from Delhi and went to Patna and ended the day after reaching Rajgir. You saw the day 1 part of our journey on our other channel: Harish Bali travels.

This particular episode was shot on Day 3- 8th feb 2023, In this video you will see our journey from Rajgir to Bodh Gaya to Gaya.
Following are the places we visited & food we explored as part of this day’s tour of Rajgir to Gaya.
Mitti Farm & Chulha Bistro- We had breakfast here.
Sattu Paratha - Rs 80 per piece
They also provide rooms for tourists.
Tariff - Rs 3500 - 4000 for double occupancy
Dashrath Manjhi Mountain - This place is known by a Legend Dashrath Manjhi also known as The Mountain Man.
Mahabodhi Mahavihara Temple - The temple complex is one of the four holy sites related to the life of the Lord Buddha, and particularly to the attainment of Enlightenment. The first temple was built by Emperor Asoka in the 3rd century B.C.E.

Siam Thai Restaurant - We had Thai food at this restaurant, restaurant is located at a walking distance from the temple.
Keang Kheo Waan Phak - Rs 220(medium) Rs 550(large)
Phad Kraphao Het - Rs 180(medium) Rs 450(large)
Steam Rice - Rs 80
Indosan Nippon Japanese Temple - It was Built in the year 1972 with the help of international Buddhist communities. It is a fine example of both Japanese architecture and Buddhist culture.
Timing - 5:00 am to 12:00 noon & 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
The Great Buddha Statue - It is considered to be a mascot for the Buddhist faith. Theis great statue is a mix of sandstone blocks and red granite. It's about 80 feets ( including height of lotus and base platform.
Sujata Stupa - It is also Sujata Kuti stupa or Sujata Garh, is a Buddhist stupa located in the village of Senanigrama of Bodh Gaya in the state of Bihar, India. Sujata was the daughter of a rich village head who offered the first meal of milk rice to Siddhartha Gautama.
Sujata Temple - It is located at the place where Sujata offered Kheer to Gautama Buddha.
Timing - 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sri Ram Tilkut Bhandar - This is one of the oldest sweet shop of Gaya, famous for Tilkut and Anarsa.

Lai - Rs 440/kg, Rs 25/piece

By your logic all biharis are Bangladeshi or anti India because the widely spoken language in bihar is Bhojpuri, Magahi, Maithli, Vajika and Angika . In video they are talking in Hindi , obviously because if they will speak there local language the viewers will have tough time understanding it. There is a world outside your smartphone ,go and discover it 🙃you will learn how love😊 That’s all I to have say Now i am going to speak Marathi in Bihar. What will be there reaction ? Anarsa sweet commanly known Anarsa goli in Bihar has a brother in Pakistan. In Kasur, Pakistan a similar sweet is famous by the name 'Andrasay'. Possibly, an old connection of Maurya period..!!

You should visit these places yourself Malini jee. Many Bengalis do visit every year. Best time to visit: Feb-April, October-November.
Bihar is the place which gave birth to so many empires that ruled india in different times. Magadha empire Mauryan empire Sunga empire Gupta empire Pala empire Sena empire.
