Thanks for sharing your lovely experience!! I left Grenada with my mother (who was Grenadian) since I was six. We live in the Bahamas; I'm 65 now and still remember and miss this beautiful island.

Its not typical to have ac units and central air in homes in Grenada, we usually keep the windows open , having AC in the bedrooms is what you will find at most places.

Ahh ok, this is what crossed my mind by the second airbnb. Whether it was common or uncommon. Thanks for sharing the info ❤

When you book make sure you look for AC.

Thanks for the comment 🫶🏽 Your right. I did after the fact and seen the host put it in the description that there was a/c. They just didn’t specify where, which is a big one for me. The bedrooms were the only areas with a/c but not the living space area. Going forward I’ll make sure to reach out to them before booking to be sure a/c is both areas.

Girl your hair looks so good. I hear the nail techs there are great too. My sister always waits to get her nails done until she lands in Grenada because they do a great job and don’t over charge like in the states. I might’ve missed it, but how much were you charged for the braids?

Yess it’s a big difference with the prices versus usd or eur. I paid $74 usd for mine. It was medium sized. Small size I believe was just $10 usd more. That’s wonderful you’ll be in Grenada 🇬🇩 The location is in Grand Anse Beach area next to “Bay House” hotels. Unfortunately the apartment/hotel unit doesn’t have a name. You would book via Airbnb with the Host, once you do she’ll send very detailed driving instructions for you to get to the property. Views are breathtaking. Link: www.airbnb.com/slink/UJYaXgmJ

That’s great you’re going there in September! The only thing is there isn’t a name for the airbnb hotel. It is next to BayHouse. That’s the easiest and most accurate way I can say. BayHouse is a known rental hotel and it’s all white. The airbnb I stayed is very close by it. The hotel rental place I stayed in is dark blue and white and it’s located in Grand Anse right above the Grand Anse post office. The lady’s name on airbnb is Gabriela. Type in “grand anse” for the location in Grenada and look for the “host” with a name “Gabriela”. She is a local Grenadian, her picture will be on there. I wish there was more info I could give but I hope it helps and you’re able to find the Airbnb from the descriptions I gave. The airbnb is a hot spot so it’s still on airbnb. You should be able to find it.
