FYI when chopping beatbox samples can just hit shift sample and then the group letter you want it on usually chops transients. Can then do adjusting saves a little time imo. Thanks for doing these vids - learned some things!!

Thanks! I was actually avoiding an issue that they fixed in firmware 1.1.2 (released today). In firmware 1.1.1 you would lose your sample trim points after resetting if you auto-chopped and adjusted the trim points. But it seems like they fixed it and I'm STOKED!

Thanks! The documentation (including the online 'manual') is absolutely hopeless when it comes to finding out about stuff like this, to the point where it's really easy to do something by accident and not know what is happening, or how to stop it - worst case you end up thinking something is broken! Keep up the good work bro :)

Thanks so much! I enjoy exploring the different possibilities that aren't covered in the manual but I definitely hope my videos save others from having to spend so much time experimenting.

Great tips! TE seems to have a tendency towards very ‘lean’ manuals/documentation. But thankfully their software team puts a ton of thought into wringing a lot from the hardware. Keep delivering these goodies- loving the details!

LOL. The second sentence in this tutorial/demo/promotional video for the EP133KO2 was....."Unfortunately, this just crashed." Say no more.

Yeah, figured it'd be best to be transparent instead of pretending like that didn't just happen. Did you also catch that mine arrived with mixed-up knob colors?

@@windowbed Yes. Sorry to hear that. I hope it's working well now though. I hope TE now regret skimping on quality control in order to rush out so many shonky units in time for Xmas. I hope TE have learned something from the (deserved) reputational damage and bad blood with distributers/retailers fielding complaints arising from their mistake. I do like your videos btw - they'll come in very useful if/when my order ever materialises.

Yeah, mine came with the orange & white rings at the base of those knobs switched. When I got mine I quickly put the knobs on the same-color rings and didn't notice until later.
