Ep. 131 - The Murder of Kain Heiland

Today’s episode begins at 18:48, so if our banter and chatting isn’t your thing and you want to get right into it we totally understand. Enjoy the case.
On April 1, 2023, in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, 12-year-old Kain Heinland was with friends Nolan Grove, 13, and Miles Belleman. Nolan had his father’s loaded pistol, which he displayed and played with throughout the day, while Miles had a BB gun. Later, Nolan pointed the gun at Kain multiple times, which led to a fatal shot to Kain’s back as they walked through a neighbor’s yard. Nolan and Miles fled, with Nolan eventually calling his father, while Miles' parents contacted 911. Despite initial charges being delayed, Nolan faced trial for third-degree murder and other charges, with Kain’s family seeking justice.. Nolan, charged as an adult, could face a minimum of 40 years in prison.

Wow great episode ladies; also I really want to know where D.A.R.E. went, i still have my lil pins and stuff! There should be age group teachings about police and gun safety. Great ideas ladies! I have police officers visit my prek classroom, it makes the kids less afraid and the officer can show them things so if they're ever in trouble they know who a police officer is and that they are safe

This is so important and it should become a nationwide organization.
