How can we educate the people , the leaders of this world need educating first looks at the wars all around our world now
I must say the quality of this podcast keeps getting better and better Wonderful discussion , Hope to see more of such topics in the future also
Great discussion. Anyone reading this, please get hold of a Linux distribution, which is open source and, therefore, free of cost, and familiarize yourself with the OS. There is plenty of detailed documentation, too. You need your own OS. That is your संस्कृति.

@@Nationalist04 There is BOSS Linux which the Col was talking about. It is a Debian fork but needs a lot of work for large scale use
What a gem of a podcast , we need leaders having strategic understanding , great expertise basically like a profile of a technocrat , not like Nitish whose latest speech confirms , the kind of people ruling us.

What what!! Entire conversation on this comment doesn't seem real !!
Smita, thank you for such episodes. I don’t seem to have the time or interest for other topics, other than music, since I started watching podcasts like yours. Such eye openers! We may be academically educated, but lack knowledge and are ignorant about so many things. At my age, I’m so grateful to get such vital information, by just watching podcasts like yours. It’s like attending a lecture on geo politics😊
One of the best podcasts on the show. Time we'll spent. Great work. Please get Col.Pavithran back.
Col Pavi has been trying for a long time to make decision makers understand the risk of dependency on foreign hardware/software in ICT space. I hope policy makers will take note of points raised by him here on data localisation, privacy and indigenization of ICT space. His viewpoint on educating own population in consuming content on social media is the way forward. Manipulating the thought process of citizens by targeted content in social media is a real risk for India in the 2024 elections. Good job team ANI.
I'm from Burma, currently reside in US, and I really enjoy your show. I learned a lot. I want to thank Samita ji, Ajit ji, your teams and all the people you interviewed especially from military. Thanks.
Smita Mam please invite Both Vikram Sampath ji and Meenakshi jain ji together for atleast 2hr. Conversation on our true indian history. Hope Ani knew the value of both legend can bring the amount of views to that particular episode 🙏
I just love to listen to Col Rajan speak. Thank you Smita and team.
Smita mam is a great conversationist , she is the reason the podcast is a hit
Lt. Col Rajan Sir thank you for your service. Your knowledge is unprecedented and I think India/PMO should and would continue to use it. I earnestly hope that somebody in PMO is hearing your views on what you have to say.
Your insight on this has surely given a new perspective to our thought process.....quite enlightening session it is...thank you Sir
Wonderful podcast Pavi....very well and incisively spoken...the gaps to be filled are huge but I think baby steps are being initiated now to start becoming self reliant..without which the narrative falls flat. Really enjoyed listening to your views on the podcast...
This is just a fantastic podcast...every Indian must listen
Loved both episodes, 66 and this one. The timely interventions of Ajit Dubey too. The entire podcast says that our nation is truly vulnerable to any kind of cyber threats existing. Hope it reaches out to the right people or maybe ANI should invite them to address these issues that we have heard to in this episode.
Wow, you gotta get this guy and do a series of podcasts of 2 hour each and minimum 10 podcasts. I can relate to wat he is talking about CyberSecurity, StrategicCapabilities etc... 👍
Am studying these things and Col Saab is absolutely correct, there is so much into these things.
Bring colonel hunny bakshi and pavi sir together
Great interview. Mrs. Chaya is such an inspiring soul.
Lt.Col. Rajan sir ,thank you for the enlightenment. It was really a great discussion .
CONCERNING AND Lt Col. thought patterns are faster than his words - a brilliant mind
Smita ji, you are an excellent interviewer. It’s an underrated skill and I can really tell the difference when I listen to your podcast versus others. Keep going from strength to strength. As a cybersecurity professional , really appreciate you bringing back Pavithran Rajan sir. Superb choice of guests!
Speechless.. Its very upsetting how Nobody till date has worked on the betterment of the Society and very annoying why despite of knowing the true facts did not take the initiative to change for the better living.. Working from the Foundation again will not suit to the majority of the Individuals thereby on guessing its going to be a long battle.. Education provided needs to be changed but from the very base.. How to do all these amidst where we are still in the society of religious communalism.. How to retrieve back our Nervous System which has been colonised since last thousands of years.. How to change the Education System right from the Kindergarden level.. Very Grief driven with the fact that Our generation was still colonised despite celebrating years of Independence.. We were never free.. Listening to Podcasts like this make me think What should be done further.. Speaking of the narratives how can we change ones narrative.. Speaking of Education How to change the present narratives of the present generation in large so that they can educate the next generation and bring slight change on a larger scale.. Cannot be relieved of the fact that we are still colonised.. Thank You ANI and Smita Maam and Team for bringing intellectuals to the forefront and educating us but how to educate everyone.. Choosing leaders is not in our hands because votes are purchased in form of freebies.. Policy Making is a long way to drive change in large scale.. Making Policy is a challenge because leaders are not true to the Nation in some or the other way in general..
Kudos to Col Pavitran, who is very coherent as always. What I loved about the podcast were the anicdotes he uses throughout to put across his view. It is fascinating how he uses Thucydides trap as a metaphor while speaking about political realism. Our country seems to have lost out on having a more strong foreign policy by always taking a moral high ground., but China seems to have done what they thought was best for their country. There is no moral ascendancy in international relations ,as it is the people who make the rules that don't follow it. It's very intriguing to learn that we are at the mercy of the countries that have our data base. It is heartening to learn that India has the economic power to tip the scales in whose ever favor they swing. We also got a birds eye view on the middle eastern conflict ,in particular the Hamas and Israeli situation today. Very insightful conversation. We need more podcasts with people like Pavitran, who have had a illustrious career in the military and who are well versed in their field.
Beautiful podcast, thanks Smita & team for putting it out.
His thoughts are just wow 😊 😊 very insightful podcast..thanks ANI for bringing sir again on this show.... I request for one more podcast on AI with sir ..

Sir is spot on this statement "how you are wired". Excellent knowledgeable podcast
Mr Rajan is critical of non alignment etc policies of yester- years, but his stance on many issues, including on Israel-Gaza conflict, is a classic non- aligned type of view...!!! Similarly, his 'denial mode' on radicalisation in Kerala was surprising.
@sangramraje5667

What do you mean by radicalisation? Gujarat is radicalised too. (Hindu radicalisation) It goes both ways.
@adityarao8570

His opinion on kerala is highlly biased being a keralite himself, which in itself is part of the problem. The fact that he said "its not as bad as its made out to be" itself shows the reluctance in accepting the facts on ground. I have many keralite friends and this is a typical keralite mindset (which the islamists take for granted). I respect his opinion on everything related to ICT law, cyber security etc, but i think he backtracked on topics of islam, hamas and palestine. Nevertheless, a very knowledgeable and truthful person.
Lt Col Pavithran is a great strategic thinker and always a pleasure to listen to his thoughts on national security, particularly on cyberspace and information domain.👏👏
1:05:01 very Well said Sir We always get Inclined to What's happening in our neighbour or The Outside World for no logical Reason..... Ingoring what will be its repercussion on Us or affect us in larger perspective...
We need this kind of podcasts many more what a clean 👏 explanation
Good to podcast in all indian language and dialects
ma'am honestly speaking previous episode with Lt Col Pavithran Rajan sir was mind boggling and this was a notch higher ma'am
Smita mam your way of conducting the interview is amezing
SMITAJI , GOOD TO LISTEN MR RAJAN AS USWAL, REQUEST YOU TO SEND THIS EPISODE TO MR MODI, MR AMIT SHAH , MR DOVAL AND BHARAT'S THINK TANK, THIS WIL HELP THEM TO ANALYSE EACH POINT FOR POICY DECESIONS , I CAN DO THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA WHICH I DONT WANT ,SINCE YOU MAY ACCESS THESE PERSONS IN BACKEND. I AM SURE YOU WILL DO THIS FOR BETTER
Singapore lee kuan yew said tht intelect should be the leaders like public exams of China. He just pointed tht point . He is right
Much awaited podcast, thsnkyou smita ji
Just seen in one go 💥 Always amazing 🙌
His explanation on Kerala is very educational. Good stuff.
Really informative and thoughtful
Very insightful!
Absolutely enlightening and logical perspective..
Waiting an interesting episode always.
One of the best episodes I have watched...❤
Fantastic episode. So much clarity. And mam did not cross question midway was the best part! An episode with pvt players like somebody responsible from big Indian tech companies ( ex. outsourcing companies like TCS/Infosys/Wipro etc) or otherwise should be called on the show and ask the tough questions like what is their take on concerns raised by the Col. Are they doing something in reality or just asking for 70 hrs a week as coolies for western nations. Have they developed anything original? Call the owners?
Waiting for the next episode of Lt. col. Rajan Sir eagerly
Awesomely awesome sir 😊😊 Good information
ICT being owned by the west, Chinese dominance on Mfg.... Never thought of this as a National security issue. Only if more and more leaders see this podcast. Thank u Smitha mam and Pavi Sir🙏🏾
Very informative & well presented.
Interesting conversation!!
Look How Smita Prakash Changes Topic whne Lt Col was almost pointing to where Countries must follow Realism and Shun the theory
Mind blowing insights into ICT industry and implications
Love watching ANI podcasts
One of the best anchor. Has best selection of hosts. Has very relevant questions & Not in a hurry.
Great convo.
Great interaction ❤
I like the part he is so well read in military wars and relates it better. Your voice should be heard
Thank you Colonel
This was one of the eye opening podcast.
I always like podcasts of all those people who I believe are for Bharat and Bharat's civilization.
Amazing insights ❤
I work in the West and have a Cyber degree, India & Indians don't have any knowledge or information about the Cyber security. If you have to be safe then you will have to create your own platforms, software, security and data centers in India. Indian companies like HCL, TCS have the knowledge & experience in setting up the Data center in US, EU and other locations..... Cyber Security companies have to do the Cyber work not the government, government has to award the projects to companies.......

Nice & eye opening information by Pankajji. 🙏🙏🙏
Excellent and relevant topic for today's time.
Col. may be reading this so to u sir, I am a young guy and I hear u and I will try to change things at my level.
This episode is extremely good❤❤❤
amazing !!
Excellent interview
The people in China on the top who are in the helms of all the affairs are intelligent indeed due to which they had created such a huge difference in their society and have a smart farsightedness in their policies which is lacking in India including in the bureaucracy. Sad but this is true. I have also experienced the same in my interactions with these people.
Data leads to info which leads to knowledge that leads to wisdom....Big data leads to better wisdom...
New perspectives 👍
This show is an eye opener, need of the hour : Indiginization
Amazing podcast
Another interesting episode from Col Pavithran, more broad based and freewheeling this time. Topics covered ranging from international relations to industrial espionage and domestic politics. It’s quite clear that we can’t hope to step into the big league without indigenous ICT and our data in our control. Good to see this important topic moving from shadows to mainstream.
Namaste, I appreciate your making of this Podcast. I may kindly request you to read a book called, 'Future Crimes' written by, Marc Goodman' though it's back dated but what you will read shall make one understand what the Lt. Colonel is trying to make us understand. Thank you.
we want more episode on this topic smita maam
He is worth listening
incredible
Great discussion...!!! We lost our independent and indegeous quality...in the CASTE AND RELIGION ... ITS EDUCATION, POLITICS, POLICIES AND ITS LAW & ORDER...!!! TALENTED, INTELLIGENT AND SKILLED CHILDREN and YOUTHS WERE NOT RECOGNIZED TILL TODAY...!!! Even today the same caste and religious politics is guiding our LEADERS, EDUCATION SYSTEMS AND NATIONAL SAFETY AND SECURITY SYSTEMS... AS WELL AS THE FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS...!!! Almost every where from small to Large undertakings...!!! Good educated, intelligent, and wise people are being controlled by caste quotas, unions and their politicians...!!! It is like an ignorant leading the Wise individual or group of people...!!! People who knew about that fact about INDIANS, harvested it very well and developed freely...!!! But we are still running proudly with sentiments of CASTE, TRIBE AND RELIGION...!!! Those who harvested and benefited from that are the real ones encouraging it too ... from within and from the foreign...!!! THANK YOU...!!!
Being someone working in ai research and previously working with the Indian govt... I feel this is a must watch podcast for indian engineers. The way the Chinese are publishing papers on AI... India currently has no match to it. The data needs to be secured, the spread of data needs to be secured. Kudos to Bharat for having banned apps, but the OEM layer and app layer needs to be secured too.
Why maam thinkers like col pavitran allowed to retire we should include him at the top brass in the goverment
Few understand the perils of nations not owning their big data and not having the right legislations to secure it. Col Pavi slowly dis- robes the frankenstein in a manner that is raw, naked & frightening that leaves the interviewers and the audience flabbergasted. We pride ourselves as future IT giants but are we going to be the leaders or the led..the line is quite blurry... Thanks Smita & Ajit for this enchanting yet disturbing podcast. A great conversation..
A technical subject simplified for comprehension by aam Indians. The only option for India is “atmanirbharta” in ICT. Hope policymakers….are listening. The subject was well covered by Smitaji & domain specialist.
He is soo Genius man....
We are still waiting for an indian manufacturer to bring out completely made in india phones. 95% of our military is dependent on others for critical weapons, we don't even have a good gun, data centres are not in India, the much awaited ict bill is nowhere to be seen. Global conflict is on the rise. Slowly one by one it's catching up. The last point made by sir is such an eye opener. Indians fought wars which weren't ours. And we can still be used for the same.
Please bring Col. Bakshi and Lt. Col Rajan together. It's a humble request🙏
The Interviewer is doing the conversation only with 1 person. The other person is ignored. However, the conversation is good and knowledgeable.
Very very intelligent man
Waiting for Honorable Respected NSA Mr. Ajit Doval Sir❤ Their thoughts and ideology always commendable
Wonderful and scary at the same time 😅
They still live amongst us. Brown sahibs.
It will be wonderful if you bring pritran ji and honey bakshi together
In independence if revolutionaries had come to power like subhash Chandra Bose, had Ghadhar mutiny went as planned maybe our country would have been leadership would have been more courageous
Excellent! We need such people with clear thoughts to make our country great
Contents memories in waters 💧
For me with the information , It's a war not warfare anymore...
This is what logic and reasoning do when you take a step back and analyse every problem that comes your way. Fantastic gentleman , Rationality prevails... JAI HIND.
Ajit is such a nice addition to the defence podcasts
Sir, great interview. Excellent insights. I am sure you are doing all you can but more needs to be done. Is there any way I can help. I need to talk to you please let me know how I can connect with you
