He absolutely did. Notice this one time 17:53 he said "The CIA" to make Andrew feel good about himself and then never mentions it again for the rest of the podcast
1:20:12 - As a medically retired combat veteran, I can absolutely confirm this is true. I never believed I would live long enough to watch our country fall from grace to the extent that it has. Despite the fact that at one time I was proud to have served and even bled for this country, I would never again (If presented with the opportunity) put that uniform on for the sake of the delusional politicians and the administration that currently resides over the US. I had brothers die for a country I no-longer recognize.

yeah totally. dude just went on a podcast specifically to be interviewed and spent the whole time on their platform answering the questions they asked. what a total tool right? 🤡 you're kidding right? fake or not this man definitely gave legit middle of the road answers. anyone who wants to work in the agency is always going to speak highly of it after but address internal issues with the government because most of the time thats WHY people applied. that's any government position. there is always bureaucracy. everyone acts like it's black and white. good or bad. pro or anti. but that goes against the entire reason why some of our people are awesome. because change happens from within. 😂 I'm in no way saying this guy isn't a shill BUT someone can support their country or beliefs while at the same time criticizing them. otherwise it's 1984 permanently

I would say it was a pretty intellectual conversation, in a sense it sounds like cia trains people like sales people. Not sure if I believe him 100% as he’s still drinking the kool-aid but I definitely liked the interview
Andrew is a rock solid individual. I used to watch his channel frequently, but there's so much competition in the marketplace it's hard to schedule time for every other channel in that space .

I struggle with this as well to be honest. If you have ever held anything above a secret, I think you would understand more. People leaking secrets and calling themselves whistleblowers are clearly traitors. People leaking things that are clearly illegal and have attempted to go through alternative channels, I get. Blasting it online causes damage to people who may not even be party to the activity. There is a definite need for people to come forward when things are wrong. There are options for that that do not include getting the Epstein treatment. Journalism is a completely separate topic. Julian Assange, from my point of view, did nothing wrong. He did what any journalist or news agency in the world would have done. His informants, however, are absolutely guilty. Chelsea Manning grabbed anything (they?) could to have 15 minutes of fame. That is not whistle blowing. That is leaking classified information with no remorse for fallout.
Amazing. He makes the Reality of Spy Craft immediately accessible, relevant, and explained with a clarity that recognizes both the extreme value and danger. He embodies a prudent nationalism that we ALL need to live from in humble self interest and unity as a cure to the current insane division growing like a cancer in main stream politics; tho he addressed this too through comparing our national development to middle school. Great job Mr. Bustamante!
This guy sticks to it and never lets it go at the same time takes control of everything.

Listening to this on the bus and at around 1 hr 50 min (the story about how to get intelligence), Andrew needs to let the guest talk. The amount of interruptions and I’m like “Andrew please shut up, I’m tryna hear this guest tell the story”. Great pod as always tho

People make fun of Andrew for his "revelations" when he's really just doing exactly what this guy said, making the guest feel important/smart. If you're blown away and showing interest in learning from someone, they'll tell you everything to express their knowledge and fulfill their ego.

It's somewhat true - the problem people have with Schulz is that he has his little 'epiphanies' mainly because he wants to sound smart by reiterating exactly what was just said 🤷♂️ I don't mind someone appreciating learning something, but when it's all for show people have an issue because it's subversive and selfish

@@rickfoster1688I agree that it's a natural thing people do in conversation, but I do not think it's good for podcasting at all When you watch a really good podcast, the flow of the conversation isn't like listening to two people talk normally. In a normal conversation, it's totally normal to do this because it shows you are actively listening. When it's done on a podcast, it's abrasive to the flow of the pod - it's hard to explain but it's something that you can simply 'feel' when it happens. No one said it better than Shane Gillis who coined the 'Schulz Epiphanies'
