Ep.11 "I'm not ready to settle down!" says

Wangari wa Nguri Aka Auntie Jemimah's journey is filled with twists and turns and shows the beauty of going for what you believe in.
From studying accounting to trying her luck in radio to eventually creating a family on KZread, content creation brought her to her now dream job on Kikuyu Radio.
She created a personna around this outspoken auntie who is opinionated and still funny. Building other personnas like Ngotho and Wanjiru made it into a famliy that is loveable online. She faced some haters but it only made her stronger ....after landing on Radio she didn't stop Building her KZread channel.
Sharing her journey on sadly having a miscarriage and eventually getting a rainbow 🌈 child was heartwarming.
Getting gestational diabetes while heavy and not being aware was shocking but taught her how to handle moving forward. Having to go through everything publicly was much harder.
A story of a woman pursuing her dreams and having crazy journey while at it is amazing and graceful.

This POV girl is sooo articulate I can listen to her an entire day!😂😂😂...then add the madness of Auntie wa Haria!😂😂😂..hata kama aliwacha waNancy na Ngotho na Mathu! So typical of the Kikuyu homestead😂😂😂😂 As for creativity and corporate, often those two don't go together. Corporate has profit and image to protect and they also need investors. All these come with dos and don'ts. Social media is about expression and those who like you and get you follow, those who don't move on to something else. That's why once you join corporate, your creative self will die because you have to conform to fit in.
