😊 Sunshine, trikes, carrots, beer, life is good. Rough trails, climbs, noise, meh... I enjoyed the ambient sounds as you pedaled along, I never play music when I ride. The sounds of the trike itself is soothing to my ears along with nature/life in the background. 😊

I'm another that doesn't like music when I'm outside. There's more than enough to listen to. If you see an earpiece it's because I'm listening to Komoot directions 👍
Exploration at its finest! Finding and doing seems like a lot of fun Tim. Enjoy the weather while you got it buddy!

Got the weather... for now! 🙄👍
It was nice to see the elevated roadway, I’ve heard so much about them and glad you. Did not have to get on one. Seeing you ride along the river brings to mind the river boats tours, from the looks of it they looks like they would also be a nice trip. Munch a carrot for me to my friend lol 😊

Carrots? I'm into peaches now 🤪👍there are many 2,3 and 4 day cruises on that part of the river. I would think they could be quite a relaxing experience.
Thanks Tim. Really enjoy looking at the buildings you are passing - so different to the wooden houses down here in Tassie. Nice you are getting some sun now,

Oh it's all blue skies and sunshine at the moment 😁👍
Hello Tim, I know you're a few days ahead of your videos. We had terrible weather today (rain showers and strong winds), so it's nice to see you have some sunshine. And for the rest: enjoy the beer, the carrots and the ride. Thanks for the video.

Yes, I've managed a couple of sunnier days now. Thanks for the comment 👍

Hola César, me alegro de verte de nuevo en los comentarios. Espero que estés bien. Gracias por mirar
Hello Tim Nice to see that you are having a little better weather. Always looking forward to following your adventure. I wonder what kind of sprocket you have on the back. I know it is a Rohloff but I would like to know how many teeth. I wish you many more beautiful dry days. Greetings Rudi

I think it's 15 teeth (?) I'll check and get back to you if it's different. Thanks for watching.
So scenic. Great to see the sun made a prolonged appearance for day 10. Was wondering when the drone would make another flight. Are the rules different from country to contry as far as where and when you can fly the drone around? Do you need a special license to fly it in the country you visit? Just wondering. Cheers!

Good question! No the EU had adopted a set of rules and each country has now adopted them. That said you're supposed to pay for a licence in any country you're flying in. I've paid for a UK licence. I'll take my chances on flying for 10 minutes in the middle of nowhere anywhere else. That said... I still follow all the flying rules.
Very good vlog Tim! Can tell it's getting back to you ;) That front gearbox looks incredibly small! Do you shift by hand for that one as well? Looks interesting

@@TimsTrikeTrips Chains on recumbents - is there two or one long one? Just thought about that? How would you change it if needed?
@TimsTrikeTrips
22 күн бұрын
@@marksadventures3889 more than 2 ordinary cycle chains on mine. The exact number of links depends on the necessary boom length for the rider of course. If I needed to replace it then buying the chains and joining them is fairly simple, though some shops sell chain by the length required.

@@TimsTrikeTrips Thanks Tim it was one thing I couldn't find on parts lists. I was thinking of building my own with variations, like a temporary cover for bad weather, power assist, able to tow a trailer with lights, that kind of thing and slightly higher - the point they're so low concerns me when sharing the road with large vehicles.
@TimsTrikeTrips

@@marksadventures3889 the answer to your last one is... just don't! I think less than 2% of all my triking miles has been on roads. I will go a long distance to avoid it, believe me.
The Army sent me and my Unit to Germany for 3 weeks. One weekend we got off and a bunch of us did the Rhine River. Got to see a dozen Castles and tried the wine and didn't like the warm beer so they had some beer on ice for us Americans.

Yes, I didn't know there were so many castles! How they built them when they drink so much beer I'll never know.
