I have watched Chateau Diaries, as well as Michael’s channel for well over a year now. This is a gift beyond my wildest imagination, I am enjoying everyone’s channels more than I can express. Long ago, I was a grammar school student of the Romance languages. At one point my instructor was the head of the language department at Wayne State University in Michigan. He told me I had a gift, in particular for French. Alas life and marriage intervened, I did not make it to Britain, or Europe. At nearly 70 now I am vicariously living my dreams through these channels. How could I ever have envisioned so many Brits moving to France to restore so many lovely chateaux? Fun, exciting, sometimes thrilling-absolute JOY!
