Yes, I understand what quiet quitting is about. I have seen it happen. I have felt the temptation and I have identified the justifications. But, I have fought this temptation to abandment of my students. They need me. They need my effort and consistency. I can go so far as to admit to the temptation. I can defuse the temptation by admitting to it, even trying it out. But I will come straight back to what is best for the student. This is a call to heroism. So it is hard, but I am strong for my students.

Certainly! In this demanding profession, it is tempting as there's a lot to contend with. But you're right-students need their teachers to be working at top capabilities. What you describe as a "call to heroism" really resonates. It's not always easy, but the difference you make can be rewarding in the long run.

Even though the main target audience was educators, I think there were valuabke lessons for many other professionals

I agree with you..there are teachers who can't wait to reach age 60 to retire.

Yes. It is an unfortunate reality. Just goes to show that this is an important topic that sheds light on the pressures educators face in today's world.

I dislike the term burnout for some reason... I like "quiet quitting" for some reason. There are so many things teachers do beyond their job description without any reward yet we are constantly targeted

I certainly empathize with you. That's why it's crucial to address these issues and ensure educators feel supported and appreciated for their dedication.
