Best brush: guy with a sword

It's really funny, but people tend to get attached to brushes, i had a teacher that would use a rock brush to draw characters and he was amazing with it

@@eduardoabreu231 ^ this. I'm not a concept artist (yet), but I've gotten clingy to my grass brush. It's called grass, but I use it for everything else now

i’m so glad this got recommended to me! stunning body of work! ✨
Gorgeous piece!
nice, complex colors ! love your work, thanks for the video
I draw/paint more "Bob Ross" style landscapes, so I really appreciate watching your process to help me "grok" a looser, more fantasy-like feel. A few more of these, and I'm going to give it a try myself! Thanks for sharing.
Simply amazing! Thanks a lot for sharing. And it would be great to see at least one proccess in real time
i love how your brush is just a little guy

Hello, i'm from Vietnam and i really love your project
Bro, you have the best brush.
Hello, really love your work and the style. I do however wish you could run us through kind of what you were thinking about, how you came up with the ideas etc. I'm sure i'm not the only one who prefers commentary over music. Just a thought for future vids. Love what you do and love to hear how you do these great pieces. Thank you for what you do!

I've watched a couple of your process videos and they're all amazing - I love the way you work with shapes and lighting. I'm curious, though - do you decide the colour palette before you start painting or do you choose the colours during the painting process itself?
At some point I was like: how much more can you add 😩??? Yet every detail made the whole piece so much better
Beautiful 😙😘

May I know where to get the brush appeared at 3:58 ? Btw your painting is sooo good
Damn i wish i was that talented...
That brush you use for the gradient and fogginess is awesome for color and shading. Is that brush you made or can I find that somewhere?
@JordanGrimmer

You can find that brush in this pack: www.deviantart.com/suzanne-helmigh/art/Suzanne-Helmigh-Brushes-Downloadpack-2013-395798737
What are the dimensions used to create the piece? Also how does one obtain the perspective brush
nice brushes man! have you upload them? o:!
Can concept art be 3D as well. As in the assets made from 3DS max for example? Just curious

How much time does it take for you to fully complete a painting?
have you ever thought about drawing a scenario under water ?
Why you don't start twitch streaming?? I'm sure you will blow up the art community over there 💪
Did merge all layers before colouring? How many layers did you used ?
@JordanGrimmer
4 жыл бұрын
I don't usually count how many layers I've used, I just use as many as I want when I'm painting something for myself like this :) I did merge everything before colouring, this just helped speed my computer up and streamlined stuff.
Do you use any touch pens or wacom tab kind of things...or just with mouse?

How you do like this fantstic❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Do you teach online ???
dude.........you are underrated as fuck! what I like about your videos is that it's not very fast, so I can follow and understand what you do. also the text in the video is very helpful. Thank you very much! just a little question, how long did it take you to finish the painting?
Looks away from the sceen 30s.. What is dis magic
Why do you start painting with grayscales?

Checking values
@JordanGrimmer
4 жыл бұрын
Yup, it's to simplify the construction of the image at the beginning and to get the values right. I find using colour at the start can distract me from getting the composition right.
