ENUGU HOTEL PRESIDENTIAL CONTROVERSY: THE CAVEAT EMPTOR CLAUSE
Afia TV previously reported on the Enugu Government's plans to renovate the Hotel Presidential. However, before celebrations could subside, Prime View, the company awarded the concession for the hotel's redevelopment, issued a caveat in tabloids, asserting definitively that the property is not for sale. They cautioned citizens against engaging in any transactions regarding the property with the Enugu State Government, Housing Corporation, Hotel Presidential, or their representatives until the Supreme Court reaches a verdict.
This development prompts a question: How much information do we have about the litigations and underlying issues that led to them, particularly regarding the Supreme Court case?

This level of greed is one of the reasons while Ibos are despised and distrusted in Nigeria. How can a clique of people ride roughshod over everybody's head to seize publicly owned asset via sheer skulduggery? Now even the Enugu government is being barred from managing the collective heirloom bequeathed to it! Michael Okpara who built the hotel for his people did not even own a house anywhere. If this washing their dirty linen in public is not a disgrace to Ibo people by few greedy people, what then is? Even minority Ibibio have built their own 12-0storey Sheraton hotel in their land while Ibos are hellbent on destroying one single hotel built by the past generation due to greed. Shameful!
I am confused. Please Afia tv, get Peter mbah or his official to explain to ndi enugu about the matter surrounding this presidential hotel.
