Hi, yes Vietnamese passport holder is not eligible for autogates. Yes mdac is required.

Why do you not give web url for the MDAC form? That is the only info I need. Too much unnecessary info in this video.

Hi Leann, we will taking cruise from Singapore to Malaysia and there is a break of 7 hrs while returning from Malaysia to Singapore. So within those 7 hrs of period , we want to visit twin tower in Malaysia . So we will have to fill MDAC on arrival or right before 3 days?

Hi, I hope you can help me with this question because I can't seem to find any answers at all. My friend came to Malaysia on November 28th, and planed to stay for 2weeks, until Dec 12-ish.. So is filling the MDAC required? The problem is, he's not arriving before the implementation of MDAC, he had and already been in Malaysia. So there's no way, to backtrack and choose Nov arrival date. Thanks~!

Hi Erika, I think it's ok as long as you're not overstaying the duration your passport/ visit pass allows, but there's no official statement about that. We can only submit the info to our best ability. 😊

You can put the address of the location you will spend the most time at.

If you have several adresse in Malaysia like you do a round trip: Which location do i need to put on the mdac? Only the first one ? (I‘ll go to melacca then kL and then ipoh)

Hi there I’m flying to Kuala Lumpur from New Zealand Tuesday morning 1:40am NZT. I’ve just filled out the MDAC form. But I’ve chosen 26th arrival and 27th as departure which is when I leave kuala for muscat. I’m only doing a 13 hour stop over in kuala before my connecting flight at 9pm that night. I wanted to know if I’m too late because my flights tomorrow and I’ve submitted the MDAC form. The day before but I’ve still received the MDAC email with the pin at the bottom so I’m guessing there’s nothing to worry about? I thought I was too late I was gonna cancel my tour.

Hi! 😀 I've got 2 (kinda daft 😳😅) questions about MDAC 1: since the guidance says only FOREIGN citizens (minus the exceptions) must fill in MDAC, that means Malaysian citizens and Malaysian Passport Holders DO NOT fill in MDAC, correct? 😅 2: if they don't fill in MDAC, why does the registration form allow you to select Malaysia as the Nationality/Citizenship? 😳😅 Did the Malay immigration authority not delete that option on the website? I haven't tried submitting a registration as its not due yet.

Hi, there's no official answer for that, others who have commented online have mixed opinions too. This is what I think: Port of Embarkation is the last city that you have passed through immigration in.

I have two questions. I hope you can address: 1. We are planning to stay in 2 cities, Johor Bahru and KL. There is only one option to put the city where we are staying. I can only fill out one city and no option to add another city. How does that work? 2. We will be doing a day trip in Singapore when we stay in JB. Example our stay will be from Feb 23 - 29---is it okay to just enter those details for arrival and departure once even if we will be going out of Malaysia to SG for a day trip on Feb 24? Hi, 1. You can put the first city 2. According to the instruction, you have to fill mdac each time you enter Malaysia.

@theresearchfiles Thank you! Does it work if I register twice---let's say I put JB as my first city and dates of arrival and departure will be Feb 23 - 29. Then when I re enter from SG on Feb 25, I will register again and put KL in the "city" box---then put the dates of Feb 25 - 29 as my arrival and departures dates. Hi, as I know for non long term pass holders, you have to have a return ticket, so use the return ticket departure date.

Hi, if you need to go through immigration (for example you have to collect your luggage during the transfer), then you need MDAC. If your baggage is checked-through, then mdac is not required.

(My wife flew on the same flight a couple of months ago, there's no passport control in the transit area and you just get on the bus to get to another terminal. that is, it all counts in the transit zone, as I understand it.)

You only need MDAC for international travelling in to Malaysia. Miri to KL flights is a domestic flight, hence MDAC is not required.

Hi now they allow flexibility, you can still fill it up upon arrival. Starting from 1st Jan, every foreign traveller has to fill it up within three days before arrival.

@@jsjs2374 You should enter your full name according to the Name field in your passport. For Chinese, the last name is entered first, but for Malay, for example, the last name is at the back, so it not fixed.

Hi concern: Nationality: Indian Last departure: Philippines Travel: Philippines to Kuala Lumpur to India. Flight with 2 different PNRs In Kuala Lumpur: arrival and departure are from the same terminal. Transit time: 16 hrs Do I need to go for immigration? Or can I skip immigration.

Hi yes. the digital arrival card would be compulsory for all foreign nationals entering the country.
