I'm pretty sure it isn't intentional, because the buttons for using breaching tools are probably anchored to the glass, so that's why you can open the door after destroying the glass.

The area where the analysts, technicans, security, and agents are is the bugged area, including the small rooms, the garage, and the room where the security are guarding the metal detector. However the janitor/spawn area isn't bugged, including the room leading to the garage. I tested this with a security member and it did worked, the security ran to the wall where most of the NPCs are, and immediately fled to the elevator when they were in the janitor area.

Killing two hostages next to another hostage will make them run and not able to be hostaged again, but it is not connected to the timer that will allow them to escape when there aren't any players within a 40~ stud radius.

If they are going TO or ON the point it is counted as occupied. However, if they are leaving the point, then that point isn't counted as occupied
