Entrapta practically wrote the story since No Princess Left Behind. Her actions caused the Alliance to break up - and afterwards, to be remade and Frosta joining them, and motivated Catra to put an end on Shadow Weaver's abuse, because of the Black Garnet. When Catra sent her away, things in Fright Zone went from bad to worse afterwards.

Launch is one of my favourite episodes because of how it portrays autism. I'm autistic but characters like Sheldon Cooper feel like they're making fun of my condition instead of showing it realistically. Launch showed how autistic people can miscommunicate or even fail to communicate at all and how that can not only be a problem for them, but also for the people around them. I also love how unbiased the episode was with its portrayal. It didn't show Entrapta being abused just because she's autistic, it showed WHY the other Princesses were pissed off with her.

The fact entrapta flirts with robots makes me believe that when hordak told her he's a clone and a product of technology, she probably got much more interested

Entrapta is fantastic and I love how her interest in tech is played out as her way of making connecting with other people. From the way she befriends Hordak and telling him how she thinks how his imperfections are beautiful (which inspires him to stand up to Horde Prime) and using tech to rescue Glimmer, to treating with machines like Emily and Darla like they’re regular people. And given that Noelle Stevenson confirmed that Entrapta was autistic, it makes me happy to see a well-written autistic woman who plays a significant role in the story.

Characterized by trouble with social interaction, in particular a tendency to miss social cues, difficulty with nonverbal communication (e.g. accurately reading expressions) and other awkwardness like repetitive or obsessive behaviors, but paired with normal intelligence and language abilities. It's no longer an official diagnosis in most places (it's been folded into general Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ASD), but it's still in use informally to describe that particular set of issues. And yeah, Entrapta ticks a lot of the boxes for it.

Duality - That's an interesting way to put it. And it's supported by her mask, the "second face". Entrapta comes across on the surface level as a crazy morally ambiguous scientist who doesn't care for people, but while her morals are certainly sketchy, she's not the heartless mad scientist that her scary masks codes her to be. In fact, the show layers in subtext from the *beginning* that she really is interested in making friends, but is socially awkward and... honestly feral, and when she's pulling the mask down, that may be her attempt at "masking" - fitting in, more specifically breaking eye contact, covering up bad emotions and vulnerability. It's her only defense mechanism and it's very significant what with how the robot mask makes her look just like all the other robots she grew up around, but fails to integrate her with humans, sending the wrong signals. The way the show embeds this subtext and progressively starts making it textual, fully pulling out its cards in S4/S5, it's brilliant. Entrapta goes from the "uncaring scientist" to one of the strongest forces for love and identity, able to help other characters who are as misunderstood and confused as she has been.

I love her. She is brilliant, naively psychotic, passionate for new technology and knowledge. And can speak in the most sarcastic layman's terms. The perfect woman.

She was a part of the good guys. Then she was a part of the bad guys. Then she went back to the good guys. And the entire time, she stayed exactly the same. Plus, Entrapdak is a ship that by all rights should be nothing more than a crack ship, but goddamn was it probably one of the most endearing ones in the series (behind or maybe even exceeding Catadora).

She's one of the funniest and most adorable Cartoon Characters I've ever seen

I like Entrapta's habit of sticking her tongue out when she's focussed on something. Little details like that flesh her out. Also when Entrapta's smiling blankly while the others are talking about Glimmer, I think that's because she's trying to reassure them by acting happy. She's already thinking of at least a dozen different possibilities about Glimmer and how they can rescue her but the others can't read her mind. Scorpia's the only one who knows her well enough to know that Entrapta's just as worried as the rest of them. If Entrapta didn't act happy, she might break down instead because she's always several steps ahead of everyone else, so she's no doubt considered the possibility that Glimmer might be dead already.

Etrapta with Shiny Eyes Is just too precious!

I love all the characters from SPOP but Entrapta is definitely in my top 3 favorites. She’s awesome.

Entrapta's excitement about space and everyone else's reaction is accidentally the perfect portrayal of how few people in the world seem to truly appreciate how mind boggling existence truly is, probably because it's also terrifying if you think too much about it. A planet with our planets atmosphere and water/oxygen/nitrogen content that also has an iron core creating a powerful enough electromagnetic field to defend us from radiation from space that is ALSO in it's stars habitable zone and has a moon as large as Earth's moon is incredibly rare, the fact you exist and are reading this is astronomically lucky.
