Enterprise Tribute 2024
Фильм және анимация
It took a while, but FINALLY, its finished, including the elusive F! Rather than just add it, i went back and remade alot of the models completely, as well as lighting and camerework so this is almost an entirely NEW Enterprise tribute video! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as the first, and as always feedback is welcomed!

@@philt2170 That's right...Next Generation. It was an older McCoy. I don't know why I thought Scotty. It was a great moment. He even wondered if Data had pointed ears thinking he was a Vulcan. 😂

Agree 100%. I’m baffled by the versions where deflector dish is inset so far back in the main body. Isn’t the point of the deflector dish to form a shield in front of the ship so when traveling faster than light, even a grain of sand in your path would rip a massive hole in the ship, and this stops this from happening? Kind of hard to do that when the disk for the deflector is set way back in.

What makes Star Trek so beloved by its fans is how the Enterprise itself is part of crew, inspiring the same passion and emotion as the humans she carries.

Big D. She will always be my Enterprise. Data will always be my favorite trek character. I absolutely hate what they did to Picard. But my God, did I love the return of the D at the end. And Data’s face was priceless.
Sad to not see the Phase 2 or the J here. If it's an Enterprise tribute, it deserves to have them all.

(Firstly: Loved it, cried a little, massive memories.) If we're mentioning an extended cut, may I humbly recommend the Probert Enterprise-C, which was always such a phenomenally-gorgeous, most-appropriate intercessor between the B and the D. I love what Greg Jein did with what he had, and the C was always a great love in my heart for what they tried to do and what they succeeded in portraying to us kiddo fans at the time, but Andrew Probert's design-sometimes called the "Narendra class" because of Star Trek: Online-is absolutely gorgeous and I think speaks to the evolution of these designs. And I say this not flippantly, because initially I thought, "oh god, please don't do the Abramsverse Enterprises in this video..." but this particular rendering is so elegantly done, so respectful, that I honestly think "yeah, absolutely, that." I'm honestly glad that the author here did include them, and that's why I think the Phase II, the Probert C, and yes even the J, might make for a fine extended cut. Most of all, this video brings out so, so much of the best of us who adore the Enterprise in all her incarnations, and we are able to talk about it! Well done!

@@qhu3878 You kind have got it backwards. The one we see in Discovery and Strange New Worlds may just be how it was when it was launched, and what we see in TOS would be after a major overhaul, like the one between TOS and The Motion Picture. Kind of like what they did with some of the last couple of Essex Class carriers when they added an angle deck to them. And so far on Strange New Worlds, nobody's mentioned the Five Year Mission concept, so the differences may be modifications made for that.
Absolutely beautiful and riveting presentation! Thank you!

1:29 Everything looks great! Congrats on such a cool animation fly by for each of the beautiful Enterprises!
The refit/A has always been my favorite iteration of the Enterprise but boy is the SNW version of the classic constitution class giving it a run for its money. Just the perfect blend of updating the classic TOS Enterprise with a couple of modern sensibilities. Beautiful ship.
The OG '01 refit and '01-A are absolute units!
Each one is beautiful ❤️
You included two of my very favourite Trek compositions in your foley track, Sam Dillard's 'Courage's Enterprise' medley, bracketed and bookending Cliff Eidelman's 'Undiscovered Country Suite' from Star Trek VI (1991). And the 'Overture' struck its initial stings right when the Excelsior III-Class NCC-1701-B's hull registry came wholly into view. That visual purpose- perhaps coincidence, perhaps not; who can say?- meant a great deal to me, and the narrative purpose I chose for my first extended Star Trek writing project, undertaken in in 2020: my late-TOS era novel _Nyota-Mtoto (Starchild/Prodigal Daughter)_ and its full first-draught, buttoned up midway through 2022. Seeing your video really made my day, and warmed this young Caitian Engineer's backpelt in an old Trekker's body with little effort but the arising of mighty dreams and their crafting, that both betwixt I expect we keep in safe and kind heart-harbour. Be excellent to yourself, and to you and yours, and be kind when you can!
I hope Andrew Probert sees this if he's not burned out by Trek adulation...goosebumps at 2:24. A classic!!!!
The TMP/TWOK Enterprise will always be my first love and the Ent-D my lady, but you've given me a new appreciation for all of the designs and I appreciate how much love went into the C, possibly the bravest Enterprise for all that we barely knew her.
NCC-1701 from my childhood. I felt like crying.
The last season of TOS was in 1968, (The Year I was Born...!!!) I grew up watching the re runs in the 70's. Was taken by my Father to see TMP when in came out in the Late 70's. That was much bigger than going to see Star Wars to me...(though I love both those creations) What amazes me about Star Trek is the emotional response that just the ships themselves, presented with near realistic models (of something that does not actually exist), with some fancy and talented lighting effects, along with the music that accompanied the entire series, can elicit... Star Trek some how, got into OUR souls. The Ships even more than the Characters. Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Picard, Ryker, Data. and all the other 'central 3' each of the series so well established are amazing and memorable. But the Ships...The Ships were Works of Art, that etched themselves into our very Souls, still, now, 40+ years later. (except Enterprise 2009, Throw that thing out, with the Bath water)
Eight Minutes of my life I will CHERISH!!!! Well DONE!!! Thank you for your hard work!!!
Funny how much of an emotional connection so many have to this ship. It’s a home that takes on adventures. Solves mysteries. Engages our critical thinking. It boldly goes…
I really enjoyed the alternative flyby views, great work! - please keep producing these if possible 😎

Very nicely done.
That’s awesome! I love the music compilation - I could listen to it all day. Where can I find it?
Wow! One of the best Enterprise tributes I've seen! And there's been a lot of them, of course. I'm slowly working on one myself; much more comprehensive, from the first one sailed on by Sir Francis Drake up to the starship "J", with concepts for the "H" and "I", a couple of ships after the "J" and several more in between. Building these in several different scale models too. My goal is to make a 2 hour documentary on the history of the Enterprise expanded to show much more than the short over views done so far, great as they are to watch. Also thinking of doing a companion book. Been Enterprise crazy since the Motion Picture: "All those vessels were called Enterprise." Been following that path ever since, bit by bit, piece by piece. Only the "J" was missing from your video, as far as "canon" is concerned. But I have to say: the "G" just doesn't fit for me. I much prefer the version by Rifleman 80 elsewhere on utube. I don't dislike the ship, mind you, but it looks like a 100 year throwback to the Motion Picture Era. I might have been able to accept it as an Enterprise A or B if they weren't already spoken for, but not as a successor to the F in the 25th century. The ships have always gotten sleeker and more futuristic as time passed, but after the F this looks like a museum ship! At the end of Picard, it should be Consigned to the starship museum, Not leaving it as the new Enterprise! The newest flag ship should be a step ahead from the F, not something that was dragged out of mothballs, maybe as training ship. Like I said, I like the design okay, but it should be seen in it's proper time frame. Anyway, that's my take on it, and thanks for a great video! The only flaw is: I want more!
My friend you need to be working for Paramount. That was incredible
