I discovered this Band when I was only 5 years old. They took me on a long musical journey, whait it didn’t end yet. Awesome Band 👏
Remember seeing these guys tour this album to Australia, they were just kids and got kicked off the stage by the security for playing on top of the sprakers. Young blokes on their 1st world tour having a blast.
Johnny sniper was their tour van for context to the song One of the craziest live bands I’ve seen back when they first toured this album

The chorus backing vocals you mentioned are from Chris, the bassist, though the "rescue" backing vocal was from the guitarist Rory.
Thursday are from New Jersey, one of my fav bands. Tbh not sure put them in the same similarity, but both excellent on their own merits

Thursday kill it every time, and never a disappointment live. Geoff is definitely a unique vocal that would put ppl off put got a lot to say, and the bass is always insane
I would check some songs from their recent albums. Also really really good and unique!
